So you agree with me. The argument has been, "for now". If Ambrose was still with Celtic you won't say that. But there is no evidence that he has dropped form. I'm not saying he Efe is above average , but at the moment, it's clear we don't have options. Awaziem latest performances in Ligue 1 can't be ignored.

In terms of proven tested experience and a degree of quality I agree with you.

If not for work permit issues I can assure you 100% he would be playing for Brighton in the EPL. Would we then have a different opinion about him.

Which seems such a hypocritical double standard when we are considering youth players for the SE some who havent played 10 games for thier first team. Essentially youth players.

Explain because Raheem I know very, very well.

Liverpool could have opted for a quality, top recognized forward but Liverpool chose to stick with youth and gave Sterling the opportunity to grow and showcase his talent on a big stage.

That is grooming.

Michael 2 must know that KANU didn't had a goal in Afcons.Mikel Legendary stuff must have take a toll on him coz it was a long discussion.

Boss, the discussion was loooong and I sent in that comment around 12am? You can see I even ended the argument myself.

Back to Kanu, Mujitdha I pointed out that a legend need not score goals or even assist but his input in the team is all that matters. I can remember a game against Cameroon(can't remember the year) but we won 2-1 or so(okocha and Utaka), Utaka's goal came from a brilliant pass from Kanu that sent him clean through. Kanu is a legend, that he didn't score goals in the Afcon does not change that fact for me

You sabi. In any case on this Mikel legend stuff it's all a matter of opinion. But if the club says he's a legend then legend he is. All other contrary opinions are academic.

Simple!!! And I am entitled to my own academic opinion, that does not make me a hater, your brain is working today my friend, that stuff you ate this morning continue eating it everyday

typical. I have already pointed out that Mikel was a great player for Chelsea who deserves a place in their history but not their legend, how does that make me a hater? Whenever you criticise a nigerian you become his/her hater? Will hating on Mikel increase my salary? Or will it elevate me to the rank of a consultant in 2months?
To you he was a great player but not a legend. But he is- legendary for his longevity at the club in the club most fruitful years, legendary for surviving under many different coaches, legendary- he was unique in that aspect. Go and understand what legend means.

I also detest that low, crude method of shaming someone rather than countering their points.

as in eh, Okocha is not fast. The guy had the speed, he just didn't like using it, I mean why would I want to use my pace when I can just stand on one spot and destroy your career with a rainbow flick?

Maybe because he hasn't proven himself to be good at it. In Brazil, long FK is taken by D.Alves and sometimes Williams. Short FK taken mostly by Neymar.

Portugal is Ronaldo etc. We need a proven FK taker. It only comes in handy. Alot of games have been won from just a goal scored via FK

your hatred for mikel, onazi and nacho is alarming.
Ohhh please stop this hatred thing naa. He's said he loves Mikel even his moniker is a derivative of Mikel. No need for us to wound each other with this hater tag. It's unnecessary. I find his comments generally bitter but I see no hatred. Abeg

his longetivity is/was legendary no doubt but generally he wasn't a Chelsea legend for me.

There are some people who may have a lengendary quality but that does not make them a legend. A player like....Ikedia, his pace is legendary but he isn't a legend. You can't name 5 fastest players for the SE ever without naming him

I remember that goal die. Was a pass from the middle that freed up Utaka one on one against the cameroonian goal keeper.

In that match, Okocha scored a free kick.
I can even remember and describe both goals against Cameroon. Mboma and Eto were both hot and spicy during that era. Meeenn

To all Mikel hater club!!. I just wanna let you know that your opinions ain't matter. Go to Chelsea fc, go to Africa, everybody kip saying john Mikel obi is a legend. You can sit behind your phone and type hateful statement, you can believe whatever you wanna believe but it ain't phase Mikel. Chelsea gave him the legend status and if it make you sad or angry, you need to go for deliverance from the spirit of witchcraft cos envy is witchcraft trait. I know of someone who seriously need it.
There is nothing cute about this comment, you really need to respect people's view on issues which may differ from your own point of view. Despite the fact I cringe about some things mickael2 says about Onazi but I still find them illuminating when I try to reason from his point of view. please eschew from all these unnecessary diatribes

It was his FK that got us into the WCQ group stage. The other guys should just step back and let him handle it.

Yea maybe the more he's allowed to take all FKs, the more he grows into it and become confident. You become an expert in what you constantly and conveniently do.

forget what he said...that he likes mikel..
how long are we going to keep hiding or running from the truth that...he hates mikel, onazi and others...
sometimes he makes me think his mission is to pull down or keep criticizing Nigeria players....even when this players proved their mantle in the field of play....

How do you explain Onyekuru's treatment. His experience in the National hasn't been different from Kayode's. Is it also due to foul play that he has been excluded?

Can you explain why Osimhen who had 45 mins game time all season not only made the matchday squad but also playing a part in our defeat to SA?
