A serious fever has once again ravaged several areas in Kano state. The epidemic which started 3 days or so after Buhari has come back has rendered many people severely ill and unable to go about their daily grind.
Most of the primary health care in the state are filled to the brim by patients affected by the menace. If you go to any of the primary health care situated within communities of the state, you will see many people lying on the floor and waiting to be attended by a doctor.
Despite the hardship and misery brought by the sickness in the state, the ever humourous people of the state has once again created funny name for the epidemic to help ease the agony and hardship brought by the illness. The fever which is usually cause by typhoid or malaria is now known as "Buhari ya dawo" by many residents of the state, which simply translate to " Buhari is back" .
If you visit any patient in the state and ask him what type of sickness is he diagnosed with, he will simply reply you that " buhari is back"
