Studying in Ireland is EUR 9000/year, studying in Germany is basically free. They both offer a 1 year post-study work visa afterwards. Germany is also the most productive economy in Europe with a 3.9% unemployment rate, this is lower than the UK unemployment rate which stands at 4.4%. Ireland, on the other hand, is one of the least productive economies in Europe with a 6.4% unemployment rate. There is no reason for an immigrant to study in Ireland when Germany provides the best option in Europe. 37 Likes 1 Share |

Good , What are procedure for study in GERMANY? |
Re: GENERAL Irish (student)visa & Work Permit-New THREAD*** by ICaSNg(f): 4:30pm On Sep 18, 2017 |
Yes, Germany has a Tuition-free policy, however semester charge applies. Excluding the fact that you need £9000 in a German Blocked account- Not to talk about the £3000 + for pre-sessional language classes. This is a thread to make people more aware of the benefits of studying in IRELAND as compared to the UK. I'll be discussing more about the 2 years work permit available to graduates of Masters program and opportunity for Permanent settlement in Future posts. Cheers 45 Likes 5 Shares |

Post-study work PERMIT in IRELAND (Yess O) =========================== So Ireland is probably thanking God for BREXIT..LOL Recently, Republic of Ireland has stepped up her game and going real in by taking opportunities- skilled graduates the UK is letting off. They've increased their post-study work permit from 1 year to 2 years for Graduates who successfully complete their masters program (Level 9). With more companies closing shop in the UK and moving to Ireland (needless to mention Ireland remains within the EU and now only the English speaking Country in Europe), this Country provides a safe Havenfor businesses and more work opportunities graduates especially, in Tech, Health and Engineering;with the likes of FACEBOOK, GOOGLE, PayPal , Irish NHS, Diageo, Coca-cola, kraft foods (Cadbury) as employers of labor based in Ireland and many more moving business from the UK to Ireland . 26 Likes 6 Shares |

Re: GENERAL Irish (student)visa & Work Permit-New THREAD*** by ICaSNg(f): 2:28pm On Sep 23, 2017 |
lovesavvi: In a seminar I attended in Feb organised by the Irish embassy in Lagos, they stated they require it. However, if you have any additional proof asides the English test e.g A letter from your University , they may waive that as a requirement. It is always better to provide more documents than not enough ----If you however studied in the UK, US English test is not required. Cheers 8 Likes 2 Shares |

HND Qualifications ---Do we stand a chance to study in Ireland ? ================================================== I'll be addressing getting an admission offer in Irish Universities with a Higher National Diploma (HND) Result today. I've received significant number of queries which includes: Can a HND graduate apply to study in Ireland? to Duration of studies for HND graduates. Yes, as a HND graduate you can study almost anywhere in the world once you have the required funds available. Securing an admission offer for HND graduate is similar to BSc gradautes with a third class degree especially for Republic of Ireland and Canada . 12 Likes 3 Shares |

Please how easy is it to get a job in Ireland, be it part time or full time if I were doing my studies there compared to UK, Australia or Canada. How much is rent for a studio or one bed in Dublin? I believe jobs will be plenty there, it being the capital. Is it possible residing outskirts of Dublin and working in Dublin? What is transport like in and out of Dublin? Is it easily accessible and cheap? Rent should be cheaper outside Dublin in other states. 8 Likes |

debris: Apologies if you feel offended, I'll expect intelligent people to know thats a typographical error. Plus difference btw EUR 9000 AND £9000 is #70,000 so it still falls within the same bracket. 74 Likes 3 Shares |

eldee365: Ireland is not as generous yet as the UK-which is totally understandable, An average university in the UK gets at least 100 international students yearly thus giving few candidates 50% off their tuition fees won't be something strenuous. I'll suggest you research Business Institutions and scholarships available to International students and requirements for application. All the best 6 Likes |
