Pls tell him to hire me, i will do it for him for 500 cad. lol. On a more serious note let him join Nairaland and read a few pages of this tread to see other people's experiences.
Incline:
I've a question. I've a friend who says he will have to spend 1 million naira, that's almost $3,000 to apply for visa ...like visit visa or any visa to canada, from Nigeria? He said this is the cost of paying agents to process the applications to Canada and what they told him. I told him he doesn't need to use an agent but he says its better. Is this true? Are y'all spending that much to process your application to canada?? This isn't about me ooo, I'm already overseas. Just want to get a clearer picture of what he's saying. He says he doesn't want to spend that much and lose money in case his application is rejected so he's asking me to sponsor him instead.

A quick question please. Especially to those who got PR while pregnant. How did you scale through medicals while pregnant knowing fully well that radiological findings is part of the medical test. Or you got pregnant after medicals? @vcole and others. Abeg help me torchlight this. Thanks

Good morning bosses. I faxed my credentials to WES on Monday and my status now is that they've received my documents and its under review, that I don't have to do anything.

What's really confusing me here is about my transcript. I read somewhere on Nairaland that the transcript will travel from Nigeria to WES twice! First is when I or my school forward it to WES, then WES will confirm receipt, and then forward a signed copy to my school, and then my school will again forward it back to WES (I'm seriously confuse here). Is that the right process or the person is misleading?

I will be submitting my transcript request form in school today, hopefully they will help fast rack the process. Thanks

Copies of the transcript will be sent via mail (most likely) and the school will respond via the same process. Let the school forward your transcript, then do a follow up to make sure the school responds to the verification request.

don worry.

Hello all.
in filling out my schedule a form, the text box where I am supposed to give reason for visa refusal doesn't allow me break it into paragraphs. as in it writes in one straight continuous line. I have been googling how to curb this. this is because the line the over shoots the text box and cannot be viewed completely when printed.

did anyone have a similar challenge that can enlighten me?

Pls house. I am trying to guide someone on WES. However an argument has broken out on verification type for immigration purpose should be DOCUMENT BY DOCUMENT ($171CAD) & not COURSE BY COURSE ($233CAD) I Know many people paid that $233. Pls which is truly correct?
If you are on WES Canada page and you chose IRCC Imigration Evaluation, you shouldnt be asking this question.

FYI, it's document by document

Good day everyone.
Pls what is the fate of those who get COPR without a job offer? How long do they have to wait in Canada before they get a payable job?

Pardon my Ignorance. cool (I'm just beginning with the end in mind)

cc cochtrane, 40manlappy , threadstone.

MAAANY people got copr without job offers. My take in life is prepare for the worst, hope for the best. Yet to see any Nigerian that said it wasn't worthwhile. It may be tough at the beginning but you'll come out just fine. i hope.

what do I know sef? I'm replying from ikoyi, ask aunty zandora and dupyshoo.

@threadstone "spoke" well: "prepare for the...hope for the best."

I am yet to land in Canada but I think you may find the following links useful. I haven't read about any Nigerian who regretted making the move no matter how tough their situation.

Hi, I don't want to be the clog in your wheel but I know that except that you are claiming points for only job B alone, your job A will not count
towards your CRS. CIC has said " all jobs for CRS must be in the same NOC" .if in doubt check a few pages back and you will understand more.

But then again, people here claim that they have combined NOCs before and it worked.

At the end, I have discovered that this PPR journey is not one size fits all...all the best with your choice.

Let me break it down like this
For the six selection factors which has the popular theme 67/100 you can say you have over 1,2,3,4,5....up to 10,11 and more experience this will aid in you meeting the 67/100 minimum score

For the CRS this is where you are asked if you have 3 or more years of experience in same NOC is stressed.

Note:this is from my experience others can shed more light

I agree with you though I am yet to relocate finally to Canada sha.

Relocating to a different country is not an easy decision to make especially if you are doing alright in the country you are. However, determination to work hard and succeed will help a lot. One will likely have to start small and work your way to the top.

My motivation is a friend who relocated from the UK in March and he has changed 2 professional jobs (in his field) since he got there. His wife has got a very good job in her field as well. You can say this is one in hundreds but one has to make a decision to either look at the positive side or the negative side.

Plenty hidden posts. What have we missed? cheesy

@MRSDA: Don't worry too much. Even without ADR, that section can change from "reviewed" to "uploaded" and to "not needed" in no particular order, so one can tell you what is going with certainty. The important thing is that you are making progress. Wish you speedy PPR.

Thank you o...make that PPR come sharply...i am not naturally patient..this thing is playing on my emotions...and yes I know it has only been 1 month!

Good morning everyone. ITA blessings fall on the expectant today. Lol
Question: I am the PA but all our funds are tied up in a funds investment accounts in my husband's name.
We do not think it's wise to pull out all the funds and transfer it to me and leave it lying in my account.
Can I use a certificate/letter from the investment account detailing the funds although the letter will bear my husband's name? And will he then need to give an LOE
Will both documents suffice?
Thanks

@raheemkeji, I'd suggest you find someone close to you that you trust to pay them a visit in the school. See if there's no underlying issue with your wife's credentials and see to give it a push by getting some contacts in the corresponding office to follow up with. Also, plan to motivate the contact you make if you know what I mean, as this is the order of the day now in most uni. 1yr is a long time and must have been so frustrating. All the best.

Hi everyone. WES has refused to acknowledge my statement of result.
There was an error with OND certificate so I decided to return it to school for a reissue which will take a longer time, but I have my HND cert. I sent the OND statement of result along with my HND Cert only for WES to acknowledge the HND cert and ignored the OND statement of result. I have sent them several messages and even called their customer care line. I called again yesterday but the guy I spoke with said, the evaluator might be thinking, if I could get a cert for HND, I should be able to produce for OND. Now they won't proceed with evaluation until I produce the OND certificate. They have my transcripts already.
