Omo, permit me to explain. Safarigirl is a strong gurl with very strong opinions on a vast variety of issues concerning football. I don't think she's rude; however, she has a tendency to aggressively defend her positions. One thing you can't take away from her is that she knows her football. Hence, you just need to understand her and you'll begin to enjoy her inputs. In my opinion, she's one of the most knowledgeable members of this forum. And the fact that she's easy on the eyes (if you understand what I mean), makes her inputs even more refreshing to read O pari

Kog45:Sincerely I don't know him ooo. Though I know Muda Lawal, Henry Nwosu Football was on the fringes for me till 1993 when Kanu and Oruma and the Babayoro's kicked my love for the game into gear. Before then I only have vague memories of our qualifiers against Angola which I watched in my friend's house and still recall Okwaraji slumping. I also remember the miracle of Daman. Anyway I enjoy watching old football so I'll go to youtube and dig into him. Ese 3 Likes |

Mujtahida:Nigeria RB best should be between Yisa Sofoluwe and Austin Eguavoen for now not Efe Ambrose or Chidi Odiah, they are good especially Odiah but i don't know what happened to Odiah career at later stage, beautiful to watch just like Jayjay Okocha in that RB position. |

Chrismario:Our media. They were all over the attackers sotey na from the comic mr biggs mag, supa strikas that many knew that Emmanuel Okala, etc, was once a goalie with class for our national team. Thanks to Italian defenders of 2000-06 for changing that. |

Chrismario:Try and watch highlights of any argentina league and you'l hate commentators. I watched one, and just cos the ball was in 18, see shout asif na goal. When it finally entered the net, omg and smh.. he went off on a long scream of gooles. I'm glad Cannavaro&Gattuso, Stam changed all that. |

His last game against Besiktas showed great improvements. His passes were crispy and he broke up play a lot. But as usual he picked a yellow card and was promptly substituted. daveP: |

daveP:I wish the fans are more vocal in their support. That heyyyy - ayyy, heyyyy-aayyy, heyyyy-aayyy, whooo, who ooo who ooooooo is a great booster to our players and a demoralising thing for our opponents. I can't boast of having played football other than backyard monkey post but Omo that thing can enter bone if the negative whooo whooo is directed at you. Legs become heavy, movement frazzled and passes become uncoordinated. It's a real psychological weapon which if we made our practice from the blowing of the whistle till the end it would take only a team with the mental steel of the Germans to win us in any home fixture. That thing is an unused weapon. Even as a fan watching on television once the fans in the stadium start that praise/boo chant, I feel very sweet inside-talkless of the players in the stadium. The fans should be made to consciously use it. 1 Like |
