Sanctus1: Yes GPA is very important ............. how was your transcript evaluated and do you know what the school converted your GPA too ..........For people with low GPA , is always advisable to use WES or write GRE aim to have a high score to boost your profile 1 Like |

The University of Maryland just broke my heart, after fulfiling 90% of the requirement, the administrator said i didnt do Calculus II and Calculus III in my Undergraduate level, and in so doing my application would be rejected. Guys i'm done for right? If i'm done for, please suggest schools that are still open for Admission into Masters, without GRE. I will appreciate big time Thanks!!! |

Damilare5882: 3.00 but conditional admission can be given to students with low GP. still don't understand why I didn't get that ...anyway I opted for the undergraduate program in pre-medicine. at least with that I can enter the medical school NOTE: I studied biochemistry 1 Like |

Sanctus1: Think long term. As a non US citizen or permanent resident, getting admitted to a US medical school is near impossible. Even if you end up with superb MCAT scores, you’ll most likely end up on a wait list at best. So think carefully. |
Re: General U.s.a (student) Visa Enquiries-part 12 by TWoods(m): 11:50am On Oct 04, 2017 |
Amkc: Fulfilling 90% of requirements mean nothing. Considering many other students likely applied who met 100% of requirements, why do you expect to be admitted? This is why I harp on engaging your prospective departments prior and during the admissions process. It guards against surprises like this. 5 Likes |

Sanctus1: Hope you didn't put all your eggs in one basket ....... The fact that one school said No doesn't mean others wont say yes (starting all over again its a long thing ooo and expensive as well ) . You have to know where to spread your risk especially if you have a low GPA |
Re: General U.s.a (student) Visa Enquiries-part 12 by LagosismyHome(f): 12:02pm On Oct 04, 2017 |
Amkc: College Park is a good competitive school , there would be loads of people with 100% that will be rejected from UMD .......Also due to free application fee going on , there would be more applicants So if that was your only application then that wasn't a wise choice . Also finding admission with no GRE , not a wise choice too as that limits the no of schools you can apply to |

I inherited my families company from my late mother two years ago. I have access to the company account wish is 27mil and also three diffrent account and court document stating I'm the owner of the company. And name is on it as the air to the estate. Are my good to go to apply for my visa? And mind you I go a misrepresentation from the Canadian embassy which lead to my refusal because of a YES OR NO issue. Does that still affect my chances of getting my America study permit. |

Geedhey:what kind of question is this when you can get all these from a simple google search..The time it took you to write this and wait for reply is even more than the time you will use to search on google. I could have answered this for you but that wont help you. Be proactive abeg 1 Like 1 Share |

emmanuelebhos: It's obvious you've done zero research. What category of visa are you applying for? That said, You might want to rephrase your question if you expect answers. |
