Good that u know Chris Ohenhen of Compostela then in Spanish LA liga, very good player and member of Saudi 89 Nigeria Squad, one of best free kick taker but surprisedly he find it difficult to break into Eagles coz Westerhoff stick to Yekini, Amokachie,Siasia, though he did not show that commitment to Eagles.

Hahahahahah! This girl just like wahala, I swear. grin

Wetin man do na? grin

Make I no talk wetin I see again? Shuuuu! shocked grin

I am not even talking about the weakness or strength of our team. I am only discussing what I saw when I watched the Zambia's game and I noticed they rely on crossing the ball from the wings.

Virtually, all their goals came from the wings during this campaign hence the need to block or stop them from the wings.

Besides, there is one guy Orchestrating the play from the midfield and I think he has to be tamed.

But here you are talking about hate and your feelings when you know they are inconsequential in ger Football matter girl. Hold yourself and stop expressing feelings that has nothing to do with soccer in public domain.

Even these feelings are fake because you are in a fake cyber World where Saint could be mistaken for devil or devil mistaken for saint. grin

Now, put that behind you and let's talk Football.

It depends on where the coach plays Mikel.

If Moses Simon and Victor Moses have athleticism are they to hold the Zambian's wingers? grin

My focus is to curtail the Zambian's wingers. It's as simple as that but if you have different opinions share them and stop using emotions to deal with the society.

That level of mind set is low. grin

Of course, we have a better team than Zambia but with wrong selection and tactics, believe me anything can happen.

Manchester City has better team than Chelsea is only in your dreams. grin

Hmmmm this is not the Forgiveness that I know.

Mine would be:

--------------- Enyeama----------

---G.Shehu-----West---U.Okechukwu---Iroha---

--------------Oliseh---Mikel--------------

-----Babangida---Okocha------Amuneke----

-------------------Yekini---------------

This squad (in each players prime) could plausible advance to a World Cup semifinal with the right tactics, and luck on their side.

I made a mistake with the Oliha role. But Babangida got more pace than Finidi on the wings, although the latter was the better crosser.
I prioritize speed and trickery in the team cos that's the quality that makes opposing defenses tire out. And that's probably why Coach Amodu (of blessed memory) always subbed in Babangida for Finidi in the 2nd halves of the matches at the Mali 2002 AFCON.

I repeat it,am not disputing Ndidi prowess when it comes to scoring from range but Onazi deserves some respect.

Oh South Africa game,Onazi responsible for d second goal?pls go watch d match again and let us talk.

Onazi poor against South Africa but Ndidi better?pls bring individual rating out against South Africa, then i w keep shut.

Yes sir, my saying "Ndidi was more likely to score from range wasn't me being disrespectful to Onazi, but me stating it the way it is.

Ndidi was poor as well in that game, he looked lost althrough the game. He couldn't bring Ndidi to order. Onazi was supposed to be the leader of them all, bit he failed at that, he was supposed to be the shield of the defense, keep things simple, make those simple shot passes and that's all, you don't have to tire yourself out by trying to hit those long passes, trying to cover every area of the pitch.

Onazi is a man I respect because of his work-rate, he's an hardworker and covers a lot of distance on the pitch, he just hasn't grown into that leader we need in the middle, he left lots of spaces when he played as a shield in that game.

Perhaps he's best at playing one of the double DM when the other one stays back to cover.

The reason why I blame Onazi for that goal was simply because he didn't cover well for the CBs that went out in search of an equaliser, I thought experience would have right him that the SA player was still on his side of his pitch when the ball was played and wasn't offside.

Truly Tijani got d speed but lack d intelligence of Finidi but did u know that Finidi is not a slow winger, pls watch his first game for Nigeria against Burkina Faso.

He came in for fumbling Austin Eguavoen and made a hell out of Burkinabes with his speed and crosses, through his input in that match Yekini scored four goals.

It was this match that gave birth to Finidi which everyone see as another version of Segun Odegbami though slightly different coz big Sege was a winger in d mould of CR7.

Sincerely I don't know him ooo. Though I know Muda Lawal, Henry Nwosu
Football was on the fringes for me till 1993 when Kanu and Oruma and the Babayoro's kicked my love for the game into gear. Before then I only have vague memories of our qualifiers against Angola which I watched in my friend's house and still recall Okwaraji slumping. I also remember the miracle of Daman. Anyway I enjoy watching old football so I'll go to youtube and dig into him. Ese

Nigeria RB best should be between Yisa Sofoluwe and Austin Eguavoen for now not Efe Ambrose or Chidi Odiah, they are good especially Odiah but i don't know what happened to Odiah career at later stage, beautiful to watch just like Jayjay Okocha in that RB position.

He also braided his hair like Jay Jay then I think.

Omo, permit me to explain. Safarigirl is a strong gurl with very strong opinions on a vast variety of issues concerning football. I don't think she's rude; however, she has a tendency to aggressively defend her positions. One thing you can't take away from her is that she knows her football. Hence, you just need to understand her and you'll begin to enjoy her inputs. In my opinion, she's one of the most knowledgeable members of this forum.

And the fact that she's easy on the eyes (if you understand what I mean), makes her inputs even more refreshing to read tongue
