Favoritism is quite likely what some people faced or they are still facing it in life on a daily basis and in the family setting it is seen to cause a bit of rivalry among the children as one child can feel left out or unloved by one or both parent(s) So I want to ask "As a child did you ever feel unloved by any of your parent(s)?" How did you cope with it? and as a parent "Is it right to treat one child better or more fairly than you treat the others and why?" ..... |

Its hard to love two people equally. more like a 49/51 thing.. but parents should learn how to make it less obvious...growing up, my younger sis was the golden egg,had everything, no punishments, the book worm, so its natural my parents liked her.. she got gifts on her birthdays cos she was always coming out in flying colours Twas tough then but I knew you can't love two people equally, really took time to realise they loved me just that they were not too happy about some of the traits I was exhibiting then.. When I took my studies serious, stopped rebelling, then I knew they loved me |

In most cases, men are treated better. I hate it when I am given such treatment simply because I am a man. It's just culture and should not be so |

L3G3ND: My last born is prob my moms fav as she stresses herself more on him, well can't say my woman was a banker so she left pretty much early and came very late, so we never spent that much time , obviously we didn't have help so had to do some stuff so wasn't much room to think about whether I was loved or not. |

L3G3ND:True but they still know he is part of the house. Nnamdi Kanu at age 50 is still leaving with his parents. It's a clear example. Ladies receive preferential treatment at a tender age, but when time advances, men takes over |
