1. Don't let it drop from ur hand or from a high place to the ground.
2. Make sure you don't insert it in a virus system.
3. The 1 and 2 will make it last long.

Can you recomend any good usb of about 4 or 8 g that is good and can repel Virus or might not contact it easily

Whenever you need good flash drives, always go for the brands...Do not buy Chinese products never. I bought a 2Terabytes Hard disk, it works super.


I recommend Sandisk, that's the king of Usb, if you get a US Manufactured Sandisk, you can use it for up to ten years without damage...Yes, ten years

Don't pull it out or eject it without using the "safe remove" feature on your pc
Be careful with dust ,always cover it when not in use
Prevent overheating ,use it in a cool place

well while I will not say you should remove without ejecting,ill like to state that most external hard drives have the quick eject feature built in by default, meaning pulling it out without ejecting wouldn't have that much of an effect. I know because I've sold HDDs and I've used many over the years and I never EVER eject and they all did okay. One thing though, no matter what, never format your HDD unless utterly necessary,in which case you'll reduce the health by 5-8% with each fornat
