Yes Stanbic, just saw a debit alert now. Though not full allotment. Yet to see the statement to confirm the rate.

What do you mean by not full allotment?

Who are your stockbrokers? I use United capital, CSL stockbrokers and Investment One, you may need to change your broker or you transfer the fund in your stockbroking account to your bank account for Trreasury Bills investment.

K am with TIDDO SECURITIES. . I'll be glad to know some brokers that do TB at lower amounts in case I can't buy at FBN. Thank you

Your best bet is to use a bank. Investment One will accept 100k, United Capital will accept N1 million, while CSL stockbrokers will accept N2 million for Trreasury Bills investment.

I wonder why Stanbic didn't have secondary market bills for yesterday and today. Is this normal, people? Recently opened an account with them based on what I read here. But they are starting to disappoint already.

It appears they place more emphasis on the primary market, while the banks I previously used won't even let you have that option with little capital. Could someone in the know please tell me the minimum they accept for primary market?

You're paid your interest upfront in TB.
it means your interest on the 500k is 14k.
I guess it's for 91 days.

I didn't memorise it.. . All are below 16.. 15,12,13 depending on the tenor. I picked 188 because it the highest rate online now.

Well, in my own opinion. It is very OK considering the rate at which TB ROI are going down. For the last bid 364 days went for 15.7% so ur 277 is good to go for 15.5.

Really? Something is wrong with us in this country. I requested for the account opening requirements online and in was told they don't accept INEC's temporary card.

tolajay:
Once read your post where you said you have a temporary INEC card. Actually, that's accepted by FBN for account opening. You'll only to get your utility bill, passport photograph and cash to fix it.

Anyway, it's all good.

GTB 4/0ct/2017 rates

91 = 13.25

182 = 15.499

364 = 15.725

Are you very sure that above which I know to be CBN stop rates are also the successful bid rates of GTB Sir?

Just contacted zenith, the banks bid for 364days failed.My bid failed again... am tired. And the rates are falling down like sosoliso airline.. And next auction will drop to like 14% thereabouts... I feel like crying. Three unsuccessful bids on a row. History is made!!!
