can you name just two chances that Zambia created after Agu came on? We hardly gave much away in the second half, in fact they didn't have a single clear cut chance in the second half. This wasn't a lucky win
Exactly, we had the better chances, the problem was that we couldn't play the ball on the ground for some reason.

We still won

Because the coaching took note hence the way we played cautiously in the first half.

Very well deserved. I mentioned it during the game. He was solid. His performance clearly shows how poor Elderson is.
Leon Balogun also deserves a mention as always. He saved our brushes a few times.

The faith papi Rohr have in Agu may soon pay off. There must be a reason why he keeps using him, and since thats not known yet, we have to look deeper. It may simply be the 'playing to instructions'.

Balogun's lack of pace was really exposed today.

Shehu has shown just exactly what he needs to show when we are in a tight, high tensioned situation. Ighalo hasnt.

Naa...pitches or pitch? Cos they have only one.

Besides that is an astro-turf. Not CAF standard.

E b like se most people no know or de don forget who Joel Obi IS? No thanks to his injury laden career.

Here is how I rate and rank our CMF/AMF Players.
1. John Mikel Obi
2. Joel Obi
3. Oghenekaro Etebo
4. Alex Iwobi
5. Ongenyi Onazi
6. Okechukwu Azuibuke
7. John Ogu
8. Mikel Agu.
e look like se I'm right with our midfielders ranking.

I am very sorry to say this. Mikel Agu is not ready for the Super Eagles. How he keeps starting ahead of Etebo and Ogu still baffles me. Simple ball that guy can't play. But some one here is telling us the boy is a great tracker- I no know wetin dem steal wey d guy de track. Let him go and improve his game or else he should be drop.

thanks bro...
that coach really need learn to take risk...
if we must go far in next world cup...

former Manchester United coach....Luis van gal..played all 23 players he took to the world cup the last time...
and his country still clinched the bronze medal...with little known players
Guy, it's like you don't appreciate the enormity of what was at stake today ooo. Is it not when you get to the World Cup you will now do as Van Gaal did if you want to? I thank God for the South African defeat. It tamed Rohr a bit. Now at least we have qualified. We didn't play beautiful football but who cares. Russia here we come.

yeah .congrats..
on rohr being a very good tactician
I think you took the praise too far
yes he is good but not very good...

he err in this match...he already made up his mind on the starting 11 prior releasing the 23 man list
and thats bad ...
even reasonable coach should know the effect of players psychology...
I told someone while watching the match...
a good coach ought to let Iwobi and nacho start this match...
reason because of the psychological edge over the Zambians
they both scored in ndola...it is certain one of them will score today if let to play...

south Africa coach knew this..
that's why he invited and played rantie against us in uyo and same rantie scored...Bro if its not broken don't fix it ......Rohr starting dsame line up means he believe they are the perfect team for this encounter......

Keeping Iwobi on the bench was the right call and we all saw how it booked our ticket to Russia.....once again Rohr is a tactical Coach

Ighalo is better against physical teams.
