I swear this road is a dead trap.

a friend of mine spent 6hrs to get to ekpoma from Benin.
she said one person(conductor)died as a loaded dangote truck fell inside the hole...

This is terribly bad, so as Isua /OKene road. Nigeria is blessed with bad leaders that do not care about the state of any road. I'm sure, one day those bad leaders will die on the bad road or they die due to aircraft's crash.

Give the road to da gote federal government to rebuild and wave task for him. Dangote is richer than Nigeria as a country. He has money to rebuild Apapa roads but Nigeria don't have. APC shame

please Seun why the injustice in the religion section must I renounce my salvation just to comment in an open forum subsection.

is naira land guided by Sharia laws why it's competly free to critise and contributed to any Christian related topic openly

This road is really a dead trap to motorists & passengers using the road. The irony of it is that this road has been getting worst over the years & Edo state indigenes has occupied the position of ministers of works in both Obasanjo & Jonathan government without repairing the road & the present minister has totally abandoned the road & its people.

The bad road started from Okpilla to Auchi to Benin. The road is filled with trucks Bua cement, Dangote, Nnpc trucks etc

Agreed 2 years is enough time to get your act together to commence work on such a project.

But we should also ask why some people love PDP if this is a legacy of their administration.

A government seeing such infrastructure decay whilst soliciting for votes is a complete farce.

The present government should swing into action regardless of how we got to this point.

It's important to know who the Senators representing this area are and if monies have been appropriated for these projects.

Money have been released to dualize the road. It is one of the road to be funded by Sukuk bond.
The money was released to Minister of road, housing and Power this week.

you should ask the deputy gov shuaib and former gov ishiomole about the Benin Auchi road and PMB what stopped the road from continuing up to completion

and the contractors working on the road were doing everything possible to get that road completed before the 2015 election but after the elections the contractors were not paid and some portions just got abandoned

that the section from iyanmu Auchi to parts of okpella has been done.that sabo section in front of Auchi poly has been done that,Auchi second gate to parts of ekpoma or that the contractor handling ekpoma to Benin axis is not there!
or the portion that is in Benin became an issue because gov oshiomole was playing politics with the road!
don't worry it is not a federal road!
mothercat and the other contractors handling the roads are been mobilised by obaseki governor of Edo state to complete road

I have been on that road I know of the Auchi section after after church junction and before the iyanmu junction because it was not tarred and when rain falls the road becomes difficult but from auchipoly to ekpoma and ekpoma to Benin.the only part is ekpoma university because of the speed bumps that has been installed!
so when the op insinuated a section from ekpoma to Benin has collapsed.it is very funny
