I declined because you are a not well known here (after asking you to quote me) but we decided to use Funlord as escrow.

I created the group and begun the process.

After getting Funlord's account details, you retreated on the guise that your "financial partner " ask you to pause and you will revert shortly.

I and Funlord waited for you throughout the evening till this morning. Yet no word from you.

Come and clear your name!

Just decided to put this out here as a warning to everyone transacting here. Take precautions!!!

This is to draw the attention of innocent Nairalanders to the activities of some scammers that keep trying to use my moniker to scam others. Fortunately, none of them has succeeded so far but who knows how much longer before they succeed. I DO NOT SELL ANYTHING IN BUSINESS SECTION!!!!! I ONLY COME HERE IF I NEED PAYMENT SERVICE AND I JUST CONTACT REPUTABLE PEOPLE AND I ALWAYS SEND PAYMENT FIRST. I have ONLY one phone number and it ends with 7918 STAY SAFE.

Here's how I have been able to remain safe here it might help someone:

I go through this thread and shortlist reputable providers of the service I need (there are sellers for almost everything you need so no need to post buying requests which attracts scammers)

I contact them (through NL email or their numbers here)and tell them what I want. (don't ever drop your number and ask sellers to contact you! Most of them are too busy)

I discuss with the person and without asking for any reference or vouch, I contact 2 or 3 other reputable people whose contacts I already have from way back and ask them to verify the person's contact details and. (most of them will be glad to help)

Once that is done, I ask for bank details and compare it to the person's name as it appears on truecaller, their NL moniker and even FB. If I am unable to match the details, I will ask for the person's FB ID and add the person as a friend. If the person is not comfortable with that, he / she can go.

I am never in a hurry to do any deal. Whoever is in a hurry can contact me when he / she is no longer busy.

It is a good idea to ask a seller to quote you but do not rely on that completely.

If you suspect anything at all, trust your instinct and forget the deal. There are other buyers and sellers out there.

Whoever says he / she doesn't have access to his or her moniker, block the person immediately.

This will be my last statement in the matter, I did not chat the guy I acted based on the proof of funds he provided that day in front of everyone and that is the tactics scammer use

1. He said the screenshots doesn't belong to him that he is selling in behalf of someone, so we can assume he didn't know the screenshot is fake ..

2. One thing is very very sure the owner of that screenshot clearly wanted to scam, is there genuine reason why you would paste a fake blockchain balance?
We have seen this case before where awongo claimed innocence and later scam people
