na so Ajiboye don replace Alampasu? Na wa o. If we are going to waste a third choice goalie, is it not better to take the young player than someone's father?

The way una dey discharge players for this country ehn...it's cause for concern undecided....sometimes we act just like the England we love to criticize

I would rather Alampasu, and this Muazzam guy, no more Joel Obi? Onyekuru....what of Nwakaeme? Is Onyekuru now a Top 9? We will not finish with the ones we have in camp, we will be adding people.

This your list is not even 50% accurate, you go see
Looool I know, I'm saying what I'd like to see for that game.

Victor Moses....

In my own...I think Victor Moses offers more as an attacking midfield, RWF,LWF...

I think he either needs to leave Chelsea when he must have reached his peak or 're negotiate his contract so he plays more as an attacker...or else dude might go the ways of mikel who the world didn't quite see his full potentials..

I thank God we 're not playing him at right wing back...come to think of it, the rwb, lwb is one of the most insignificant position in football as any right back or left back can walk straight into that position...if so why waste a full potential attacker into playing the rwb position..

Although Chelsea is good for him at the moment but I think and I pray he follows the ways of Alex oxlade Chamberlain when the ovation is loud. .

He remains a dangerous attacker both today and tommorow. And for him to be a legend in the game,he has to remain an attacker in the game and no some insignificant right wing back cool cool

I think the right wing back role is the best thing that has happened to V. Moses. He has the talent but so undisciplined in his playing style. Same problem we have with Onazi.

Talent is not their problem. Tucking V. Moses to that right changes his mentality. He becomes a team player and plays in a disciplined fashion. Tracks back accurately, does not dwell on the ball and makes the right timed perpetrating runs without the ball.

I hope he maintains that wing back role in the coming years. I do not like seeing him playing like a wild Cannon without raising his head up to monitor the positions of his team-mates.

Easy Bro, don't come on strong. Why you projecting your own mind onto me? Why so touchy? Remove the skein from your heart and you'd see my comment is devoid of any ethnic coloration.

I mentioned Iwobi's Dad as something that I am curious about without any scant intention to raise tribal issues. It's just my observation and I am entitled to make it!!. If you cannot answer my question, slide abeg jejely. And that's why I directed my inquiries to komekn. One cannot mention tribe in Nigeria without someone screaming tribalism. I am not that way-Never I've been and never will be. I've even once asked about Enyeama's tribe here and Icon4s answered my inquiries. Wetin concern me with Bianca abi malila or melina.

Mine is he should be very far from our England based players biko before he infects them with his lifestyle.

I also think senior players like Mikel should step in and advise before it's too late. I bèlieve he's not a lost cause yet.

I agree with you. Mikel had a drinking problem and was not discipline to timing to the training pitch. Mourinho got Drogba to drill sense into Mikel and I think it is time for Mikel to reciprocate what Drogba did for him.

Oga Icon4s should not lose hope. Those who listened to him and Etim Esin learnt. Maybe the final Golden Eaglets of the 2013 needed one more lecture on discipline before leaving for the tournament.

I hope other senior players who suffered from poor disciplinary attitudes get to Success in time before he throws everything away.

Oh wasn't fantastic for that little period on d field?but Ndidi better as CMF in d second half?and Agu better as DMF?meaning Agu can replace Ndidi as DMF and Ndidi move to CMF and Onazi to d bench.

Onazi was very OK as CMF yesterday even better than Ndidi before injury set in,hope u see how Ndidi almost gives Zambia d first goal,am not here to nail Ndidi or to compare but i want u to always put good judgement to your analysis, u always shield Ndidi and always ready to expose Onazi even when unnecessary.

Mikel Agu played better yesterday in d second half?oh he should have played worse as he was in d first half.I can tell u Rohr was sweating seeing very horrific displayed by Agu in d 1st half, pls go and watch d match again and tell me any special thing Agu did in d second half.

Rohr should thank his star that Ndidi was on d field to cover up for Agu,pls go and ask Ndidi may be he w work like he did in d second half if Onazi was on d field.

Doing nothing special is the special thing Agu did in the second half. As I keep hammering (well Mickael2 also does hammer it too), just shield the defence. Stay with them and protect them. That Agu did well in that second half.

Mickael2:
On the contrary, you think the game is just remove defender A because Defender A isn't performing and replace him with defender B because defender B looks better.

See the thing, a team isn't outstanding entirely because of the DMF, no, the CMF as well is very important. When Onazi was playing as the CMF at the start of the game he was leaving pockets of space, this drawing Ndidi out of position, in that case you as a coach might decide to just change Onazi and Ndidi since both aren't performing. But then Mikel Agu came in and continued where Onazi left-leaving spaces for the Zambians. Then a simple switch, Ndidi to CMF and Agu to DMF balanced everything. So you see that the CMF is as important as the DMF, Ndidi is an average or slightly above average CMF, he is an excellent DMF on the other hand but an average CMF(Onazi) made him look bad. Agu too is not a good DMF but a slightly above average CMF(Ndidi) made him look awesome. So let's try this out, Ndidi, who is a good, very good DMF plus Etebo/Joel/Ajagun/Mikel Obi who are equally good CMFs equals midfield dominance. If Mikel is the CMF, put Iwobi as the Amf and you have a potentially destructive midfield combo or if Joel Obi is the CMF put in Mikel as the AMF and the potential is too mouth-watering and will send cold shivers down the spine of opposing teams anyday of the week and twice on matchdays

Agreed with the bolded. Mikel in the CMF role with Ndidi shielding will make a lethal combination. Mikel will get more room to dictate tempo with the ball and play like a deep lying playmaker.

Iwobi, Joel Obi and to some extent, Iheanacho can battle for the ten role. Also with Osimhen hopefully developing at an exponential rate can compete with Nacho, Ighalo for the nine role.

more nonsense. So, it is Cyriel that is not a good striker?

All of Cyril's goals are flukes abi? How many goals does Tammy have this season sef?

All this nonsense beggi beggi attitude dey turn pesin belle. After the way that guy embarrassed Nigerians, I am ashamed of anyone still campaigning for his inclusion this early. If anyone does that to your country, the ideal thing is to keep talks of him away until after the World Cup, not keep talking about him as if we are that obsessed boyfriend that can't get over their ex.

Tammy is not the only forward at our disposal and I dare say, he is not better than those who have expressed interest to play for us.

If he is still interested after the world cup, we can go for him, but for now, let him remain at his U21 level that he chose for himself

I no why, but this comment just dey sweet my belle. kiss

Rooney has achieved everything in football and his on a decline. Success is an upcoming player.

It is not about the arrest. It is about the lifestyle.

Right now, football should be his major focus. He should be working his socks off everyday in training to get into the Watford team.

He has the quality. He needs discipline and focus.

CR7 is not the most naturally talented player in the world. But look at where hardwork and discipline has led him to.

Of a truth... This team has done well and have justified themselves by qualifying with a game to spare.

We did it in style. Conceding 3goals and scoring a whooping 10 in 4games. The so much criticised defence stood their ground against african top teams. I think they deserve some praises.

people do not want to see that Onazi's inclusion means we are settling for the average instead of taking that bold leap and gathering the best. I mean Ndidi-Mikel-Joel combo will totally dominate many teams even the Portugese team. There is a reason why Onazi is playing for Trabzonspor and he is wanted by Birmingham, a championship team? But here we have the best young player in Leicester(and arguably the best young midfielder in the EPL), a national team great and a quality Torino player or a top Arsenal star, I mean who gives up this kind of combo for a Trabzonspor player?

6.6 is not a solid rating... neither is 7.08 for one game.

Perfomances are averaged so less appearances should be beneficial. Omeruo playing less games should be an advantage. An average performance of less than 7 is poor.

Omeruo could not make the reserve team of Chelsea and was compelled to train with the under 23. This is an experienced international .

I was about giving up and settling for a draw last evening. Considering the fact that our boys often take off their feet from the gas towards the end. But I was suprised by their share determination to round things up. They gave their all even after they've worn out and tired. I love the attitude I saw yesterday. Truly the team has evolved.

Years back/last generation of eagles player would have given up the chase and settle for a draw postponing their qualification thereby leaving the supporters with no other option than to pick up their calculators for Permutation and Combination exercise.

I only hope things get better and we keep progressing in this positive direction.

Just read how the team celebrated their victory with captain Mikel, I must confess the Man John Obi Mikel has really grown up evolving into a true leader. His humility is something else... The team bonding has improved since the time he took over. The boys now see themselves as brothers from one parent-NIGERIA. Seeing Musa participating was the height of it all.

Forget what you read here about Agbo being a terrible footballer.

Dude is rash, but I believe he can improve.

I won't play him at CB though, I lived watching him play 4 at Granada.

let's put this into context here. 6.6 means you are at 3.4 away from a perfect performance, this was Omeruo's first game of the season(he hardly played any preseason with his teammates) but he got 6.6 in his first match and 7.08 in the next which is a steady rise. He was subbed in with 24mins to go in his last game and he wasn't great but this guy missed preseason as well, I mean we excuse Iheanacho because he missed preseason with Leicester but same can't be applied to Omeruo?
