hopefulLandlord: I've read that post. The nauseating point about it is the fact that atheists are willing to contradict themselves and abandon their own favourite weapon (logic) in order to justify their atheism. |

HajimeSaito: would you be so kind to point out the illogicalities and contradictions you observed in that OP? you'll do yourself a world of good by bowing out now or you might end up embarrassing yourself |

hopefulLandlord: An atheist wants to be the sole and supreme moral arbiter over right and wrong. Atheism lacks any real sense of moral clarity or a sound moral compass. What this simply means is that an atheist will do whatever he feels that he can get away with because he will never answer for it if he is not caught. Atheism doesn't just deaden the conscience, it gets rid of it entirely. |

HajimeSaito:I'm afraid you're erecting a strawman and knocking it down you're basically talking off topic below was your post I challenged Atheism is the refuge of the morally bankrupt. When people want to sin without conscience they become atheists. I gave you a thread which shows that claim is absolute bonkers and you said there were contradictions and illogicalities in the thread, you need to point them out, that's what was asked 2 Likes |

Polygamy isn't a sin. It is only against what is accepted by the society. Norms change as society changes. |

hopefulLandlord: Religion is essentially a moral code. Every religion has its own moral code. In the same way that there are good ideas and bad ideas, there are sound and reliable moral codes and self serving unreliable ones. The Christian moral code is embedded in the Bible. The Hindu moral code is in the Vedic Texts. For me as a Christian, the two have absolutely nothing in common with each other. I followed the one which sets down the highest moral standards which happens to be the Bible. Atheism on the other hand actually has even lower moral standards than Hinduism. 1 Like |

HajimeSaito: you're just pulling straws all over the place Atheism is the refuge of the morally bankrupt. When people want to sin without conscience they become atheists. This is what I'm challenging not the sermon you gave up there people become atheists because they want to "sin" is the statement I'm challenging, how many times do I have to say this? |

casted81:REJECTION OF CHRIST JESUS IS THE ONLY SIN THAT WILL DESTROY AND CONDEMN MANKIND...BECAUSE, HE IS THE CURE TO ALL SIN AND MISBEHAVIOUR...WHEN YOU TRULY HAVE JESUS, YOU HAVE THE POWER TO LIVE RIGHTEOUSLY. |

casted81: The origin of polygamy is associated with sin. The sun of faithlessness on-the part of Abraham and Sarah as they staggered at the promise of God. Though God permissively was silent on it in the law dispensation, I but outrightly condemned it in the dispensation of Grace. |

casted81:ADULTERY, FORNICATION, LESBIANISM, HOMOSEXUALISM AND EVERY IMMORAL ACTS IS A FUNCTION OF NOT HAVING CHRIST JESUS THE CURE TO SIN...A SINNER NEEDS NO CONDEMNATION, WHAT HE NEEDS IS THE SPIRIT OF JESUS THAT WILL FREE HIM FROM THAT UNRIGHTEOUS ACT. |

casted81: Matthew 19:5 And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh? Matthew 19:6 Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder. Note it's only twain that can become one flesh, not greater than twain. |
