Daejoyoung: The main reinforcements are needed at the back. Awaziem is now 3rd choice CB, it seems. Agbo or Omeruo will likely get the 4th spot. I feel we need reinforcements here. Elderson has served us well but i do not think, he should be first choice at the world cup. |

Kog45:At least Dominic Iorfa's own is better - he said his son would play for Nigeria at the senior level. They should talk to that Ojokojo oo cos we need that boy. Him and Uduokhai or at least one of them. The commitment of Alex and Ola's Dads is really heartwarming. Iwobi's Dad- while trying to explain why Iwobi came to camp on Tuesday rather than Monday - said that he'd be the last person to encourage his son to break camp rules and that the young man is disciplined - that's why having a good father is important. He also said he's been following Iwobi to football games since Iwobi was four. Can you imagine? That back line needs stiff competition, very stiff competition. If we are solid at the back it would bolster our attack. Someone said Ikeme kept us in the game against Zambia in Ndola till we scored and that's true cos I remembered how he made save upon save till we scored. That's what a good defence does- it keeps you in the game. How do you see Ighalo? I do think he played well but missed too many chances especially the threaded pass from Moses after Iwobi countered but unlike Iwobi he failed to keep things simple and just shoot. He wanted to do Bebeto on the ball and that's how the opportunity was lost. Otherwise I feel his movement is good, he gets into goal scoring positions and his hold up play and dribbling are good enough for him to have a place in the team if he does not suffer any dip in form. 1 Like |

Humility017:I hope this doesn't become an Ighalo/Kc debate. Undoubtedly Kc is the more clinical finisher however to me Ighalo offers more threatening movement. He dribbles better too. Kc should play behind the main striker like in our first match. He will score more. 2 Likes |

Mujtahida:good you spoke the truth... in a world cup tournament where you've the best nations all play... you don't go start missing goal scoring opportunities like he did yesterday... a clinical team will punish you for it. he is more of Nigeria version of Edison cavanni....who can utilise 2 out of 10 created chances |

Lordabas:That sentimental factor is always gon be there. Right now Ahmed Musa's place in the squad is really not guaranteed. I see at least four or five players in the crop that played the qualifiers being dropped and entirely new guys taking up their places. May God help John Ogu. But I know we ain't taking no Uchebos to the World Cup this time. 3 Likes |

Like Rohr said yesterday, the next phase is preparing for the world cup. In my opinion, baring injuries and significant loss if form, the coach already knows at least 15 players if not more of the players he wants to take to Russia. But let's wait and see if any new guys can still gatecrash!!!!! |

edi287: Its not everything you talk about in the public domain his behaviour and attitude are not hidden to those in the know. He reminds me of another young French international striker Magaye who left Everton to Millwall had similar problems. Highly indisciplined. I don't know if it was the TheGoodJoe that said Pep doesn't allow his young players to have girlfriends. I find that the pursuit of woman has completely destroyed the career of so many players. If to say I deh Naija, honestly I would have liked to koboko flog some of them, so that sense go enter thier heads. I FIND INDISCIPLINE HIGHLY ANNOYING. 6 Likes |

Humility017:Na now I can support your call for Rohr to become a little bit radical. Cos we need to apply real tactical intelligence at the World Cup. No be to the play the same line up all the time in the name of never change a winning team. That might not work all the time. Sometimes a little tweaking like bringing Iheanacho to play behind the main striker can help make our attack more effective, a midfield combo of Mikel-Ndidi - Etebo /Iwobi too can do wonders in that midfield 4 Likes |

Humility017:My man have been watching Eagles since 80s and i know what am talking about I watched Odegbami Segun,Rasheed Yekini,Chibuzor Ehielegbu,Odiaka,Owubokiri,Samson Siasia, Mike Obiku,Chris Ohenhen,Dan Amokachie, Efan Ekoku,KANU Nwankwo, Julius Aghaowa, etc So issue of Nacho or Ighalo not new to me and I know what am saying.I rate Nacho highly than Ighalo, u can check most of my comments but Rohr must have his reason for picking Ighalo ahead of him of recent. Pls check most of my comments on Ighalo i don't rate him but he had a good game against Cameroon which i appreciate. My point is not who is more clinical or do u see anywhere i said Ighalo is more clinical than Nacho,so why d question. Ighalo had a fair game like others in a tense soaked match and he cannot be dropped coz of yesterday match, that's my point. |

BascoVanVeli: A player bough by Chelsea with so much promise. Has never played for Chelsea, goes on loan in Holland then comes to Middlesbrough all with the quest to prove himself as top quality. However, his time at Middlesbrough was far from outstanding. He then leaves to an even lower league and you call that progress. I even rate Efe Ambrose more than him currently. Is Omeruo the best CB in Turkey Or among the top 5 Tega went Bristol city and essentially in one season tore up the championship. Aina has gone to Hull and within weeks the number one RB in the championship that's progression. In this regard Omeruo has not progressed, we need much better. Is he better than Iorfa 3 Likes |

Kog45:i am not canvassingfor him to be dropped from the team, but definetely not a top 9 and shouldn't be starting ...you've been watching eagles since the 1990s....you're in a better position to know the kind of strikers that have always been paraded by the SE...the likes of yekini and co.... there is need to shop for a top 9 and back ups for troost and Leon and also elderson... That's all we need now . |
