I must say I'm sorry I dissed you when you first pointed out these loop holes. You actually were right, dude really is a waste man. He is anything but his name (success). He is a total disgrace to immense talent.

I ain't got no hope on him no more. I won't be surprised if Watford releases him in the near future. Dude should be playing in the Indian league.

How una wan take help this boy if una just dey lash am?

He needs mind education, I can offer it to him for free or direct him to our branch in England. grin

azzin. Haba! Tammy of all people, how can you say we have pride if we want to keep running after someone who embarrassed us publicly?

Some are even making excuses for him, is it not a shameless behaviour? When Tammy is not Messi. How low can we go?

I am highly disappointed in anyone calling for Tammy. It just goes to show that we can never learn, these foreign players will keep taking us for granted if we continue with this terrible behaviour. Every single World Cup, we do this. We get rejected and still take the players who rejected us to World Cup.

We need to set a precedence, even if we don't go far in the WC because we did not take Tammy. I would rather that than throwing away our pride. Look at how France dropped Benzema, can we do that? That is pride, the national team is bigger than any individual player

I am always very weary when it comes to the discussion of approaching Nigerian origin players.

What you are told and read in the papers is very far from the truth. I have met at least three of our national coaches lobbying players. However, the central theme and consideration was not national interest but personal interest. You are intelligent enough to know what I am suggesting.

So do not be too quick to draw conclusions about these matters.

Possibly one day you will understand what goes on behind the scenes.

With regards to Tega there is a bit more that is going on. He has to tread carefully and not cause u due offence. He is walking on diplomatic egg shells but he will play for Nigeria eventually.

Until we play a grade A friendly I don't take Shehu, Echiejile, Ekong, Balogun Aweriem, Agbo and Ugbo seriously
Grade A friendly doesn't determine, remember US 94 lost all their friendly matches towards US 94 and they had good outing at d World cup.

Truly there is a lot to be done in d defence not even defence alone but d team in general, let just hope Rohr we do d needful.

Mention at least one world class or top striker and winger our defenders faced.

I don't want us to go to the world Cup to make the numbers.

The cameroonian striker Aboubakar plays for Porto in the Champions league. The other Cameroonian guy that plays for Stoke scored against Man Utd a few weeks back. Mahrez and Slimani are also good.

Fact is that most of the strikers, we will face are not better than the above. You start facing the real top players in the later stages of the WC.

I agree with you 100% but with the proviso that they are good. But will be punished severely for any laxity that you can get away with in African football.

Please when will we play England

Honestly Rohr has a lot to do and he must be radical in his approach.

I want to see Ndidi and Onazi competing as DMF,one should be on d bench.

Mikel drop a little bit as CMF with player like Etebo or Ogu competing with him not Agu.

Iwobi doing his thing at d right side with Moses Simeon slugging it out with him

V.Moses doing his thing at d left side with d likes of Musa on d sidelines, remember Musa did it well from that angle against Argentina.

Iheanacho playing behinds d top 9 w be an idea coz it w give him more room to express himself

Ighalo as top 9 for now coz not yet feasible player to unsurp him,how i wish Tammy can be available to compete with him.

Balogun, Ekong are good as it's now though things need to be done regards availability of back up CB,Awaziem is available, hope players like Felix Uduokhai, Tournarigba Ojokojo, Irofa w be available for selection, not forgetting Omeruo.

Shehu Abdullahi is a revelation hope he can keep it up,good to have Aina who is comfortable in both full backs and with Echiejele, Ebuhei.Hope we can still find one or two players to slug it out with them for better selection

Goalkeeping dept our greatest headache no thanks to Ikeme health issue but thank God for Ezenwa calmness.I still believe in Enyeama hope he get good club in January to fight for a place in d team and with Akpeyi, Ajiboye, Alampasu, with these five we should get good three to represent Nigeria at WC.

You have covered the whole ground. My greatest concern is that defence. But I'd prefer Iwobi playing from the centre so that he can pierce defences with his splitting passes although playing on the right offers the team tactical maneuverability.

Rohr hasn't gotten the ideal CMF and DMF pairing yet.
Truly Ezenwa has calmness. I wasn't even afraid for him yesterday even though I was under pressure.
If we can get that Tammy it would bolster our attack but Nwakaeme deserves to be tested yet.

Rohr has repeated talked about Ikeme going to Russia. I feel like if he beats the cancer before then, He might make the team even if he is not 100% fit. Even as a third choice keeper.

of a truth Football is loosing the entertainment part of the game. It lacks the beauty it possesses in defence, midfield and the flanks. It's now all about the activities done in the 18yard box. Me no kuku like all this pressing, intensity thing wey de don turn football into. Dem go just de run from start to finish-shutting out the no 10role...
but the build up to this goal against Zambia was awesome,
i decided to count how many passes they exchanged before the goal, lt was 15 good passes without the Zambians touching the ball.
this is the best team play i've seen the SE play leading to a goal,i don't know if i can remember any other like this in terms of team work, this is very good improvement.

that post was made in relation to an article from goal.

Nevertheless, 'm sure that our boys will do better with their passes on a better pitch.

We have 1more WCQ in Nov. It will be good if NFF can organize a friendly match alongside. It will give Rohr the opportunity to examine new players/players who have been called before but haven't really play.

We are only left with one more international break this year and the next one won't come earlier than March next year. I think other Continents will be wrapping up their qualifiers this oct and most of them will have Nov break to spare for friendlies. A friendly against a top african side won't be bad.

talk to Tammy for what? Why una just wan dey shameless like this?

Talk to Tammy so that he will use half mind to play for us at the World Cup? Talk to Tammy so that in case we meet England in Round of 16 or something, he will Yakubu us to help England?

You people better forget about this Tammy of a boy and focus on other players that actually save your blushes rather than trample upon your ego

Borrow shame, Spain, Germany, Belgium did not become football powerhouses by begging players that embarrassed them in public. If we clamour for Tammy, then by all means, Jordon Ibe also deserves a spot in our team because Jordon hasn't done anything that Tammy did not do.

The nonsense Tammy even went on to play for England's U21, if that is not a huge slap, I don't know what is. Forget about Tammy abeg, if we are that desperate, we will call up Martins
I just Taya for our people o. It's not like the Tammy guy is Ronaldo or Messi na. We have several quality players in his position, I would have reasoned along with them if he is an attacking midfielder in the mould of Cesc Fabregas or Juan Mata or even Dele Alli.. But a player who is not even the first choice striker for Swansea city? Oh please!

I am of the opinion that, instead of calling new players in place of the regulars. We can as well expand/extend the call ups to 30 men. This will provide the technical crew time to compare and contrast the regulars with the new comers.

But as we all know, this can only be achieved if NFF will be ready to support financially-atleast 7more players shouldn't be a problem.

I am disappointed in all of you mentioning Tammy's name here. It is Tammy you want to field against Spain and Germany and Brazil? Tammy will just sink you people, it's like none of you understand what loyalty means in football and how important it is

Is Cyriel any better?

I am rooting for Tammy abeg. We just need to re-strtegise. We can still get him and Cyriel too.

it seems Rohr really rate Aina highly. He said he nearly start Aina but just need to go for d same XI.

On Agu, Rohr admitted he had a woeful outing but hope for better performance next time.

Yea but NFF guys know him very well especially Chief Taiwo Ogunjobi,Segun Odegbami, Felix Owolabi, these people are enough to talk to him coz it seems he is d problem not d boy.

I don't expect him to be a stumbling block on this issue,he was a very local home based player then and i thought he should be happy seeing d boy played for Nigeria.

Kudos to Iwobi and Aina Fathers, see d join in their face, just like when someone child graduated from d university. They are just too happy seeing their children playing for Nigeria.

Hope Tammy Dad can do d same thing, though a lot are not happy with him now for coming out to denied Nigeria but hope he can have a rethink.

Ojokojo and Irofa fall my hand on their children coz they know d system very well and nobody should tell them before these guys pledge allegiance to Nigeria.

My wish is to see Felix Uduokhai,Ojokojo, Irofa in Nigeria colour and make d competition thick in d national team just like d way we are seeing Aina,Iwobi Balogun, Ekong doing it.

Tiago Ilori should also be considered.

They'll be baddest at the mundial if we meet them there. Their style can teach us how to dominate, while our def would learn how to soak pressure to the required standard. It would be a helpful friendly, just like when we played France, beat them, but didnt wake up to our loopholes. And they got us in Brazil.
