They told me its possible to pause the program if it is not convenient for me at the moment etc

I didn't want to ask them about the scholarships

Well let me try and answer some.

The exams are called HSK, divided from Level 1-6 with increasing difficulty. it has listening part , comprehension and writing. The higher levels has an additional oral exam called hskk. As an exam you are not required to perform anything.

If your lectures are clashing talk with your lectures. If you are serious you can learn on you own. Language is 20% class work, 80% self work. As per what you will miss, ask your lecturer.

About finishing the levels here, it depends on your diligence. Few do but there are minimum requirements and scores to be attained. if you reach the cutoff, you qualify. To be safe u must get level 5 at least 220.

There are two types of scholarship, Govt scholarship. here you can read other courses. but its difficult to get. u also need a good degree from school. Confucius scholarship is for Chinese study. Its easier that Govt. But getting either needs serious study, you can't get by chance.

From your questions, I don't think you have have been taking the program seriously and I don't think you have the right motivation. if scholarship is your only motivation, you may be disappointed along the line. Don't take my words hard.

For us in Anambra, new section starts around July.

Level 1 to 2 is 6 months, level 3, 4, and 5 is 6 months respectively. making it a total of two years for the diploma certification program.
