They'll be baddest at the mundial if we meet them there. Their style can teach us how to dominate, while our def would learn how to soak pressure to the required standard. It would be a helpful friendly, just like when we played France, beat them, but didnt wake up to our loopholes. And they got us in Brazil.
South American sides have always proven to be difficult for African teams. Look at what Chile did to Cameroun at the Confeds

Meanwhile in other news, Makelele advices Tammy to style his game after Drogba's.

Arsenal on Lookman's radar as replacement 4 Alexis/Theo.

The main reinforcements are needed at the back. Awaziem is now 3rd choice CB, it seems. Agbo or Omeruo will likely get the 4th spot.

I feel we need reinforcements here.

Elderson has served us well but i do not think, he should be first choice at the world cup.

Awaziem and Agbo must be tested against Algeria before been considered 3rd or 4th choice CB.

No player should hide in the congregation to the world Cup.

i wonder why people are still mentioning Tammy Abraham here,he will NEVER EVER play for Nigeria again.
Mr. Pinnick can never ask him to play for Nigeria again,do u think he was happy with him for making him looked like a baby,i REPEAT,NFF can never call him again, even if he changes his mind. we wish him with the 3 lions,he must surely have his one cap,and his eyes will clear n d rest will b history

Remember ebuchi also make us look like a baby when he was called...

Don't let us jump into conclusion yet.. Let give him benefit of doubt.. I was read an article of their u20 coach in how they put call through to him and put alll of pressure on him...

We just be calm.. Instead of cutting Tammys neck.. We should accuse AmajuPinnick for talking too much and playing politics with it

CMR were content on just counterattacking, which worked, but no conversion. Besides our midfield wnt just handover like cmr did that day. na that match give Bassogog one kine hype like that. luckily, papi Rohr thought otherwise.

Shehu vs Sanchez is a perfect test/floodlight on his cypriot career.

Mention at least one world class or top striker and winger our defenders faced.

I don't want us to go to the world Cup to make the numbers.

i just pray rohr take the risks you profered up there...that man is no risk taker...
don't be surprised if he play same starting line up against the Algerians

if he does me I will be suprised honestly. We need to keep building, if na so Germany dey do Isco and Draxler would still be bench warmers for Torres and Gomez

PR Nightmare is what I call it. What we have here is a 19 year old who has to answer to the UK media. He has to answer to his coach at Swansea. He has to answer to the English FA. He has to answer to his U-21 coach who said it's always a matter of a phone call away whenever he hears rumors. This boys have strong bonds to peers and a network of UK football personalities. It's important he maintains a good PR image there. His reaction was more about saying his relationship with them stays the same, than actually turning down Nigeria. He only reiterated his commitment to England and never implied an allegiance switch talk was even on the table. Let's read between the lines, and not put the boy under undue pressure.

Do we need Tammy? Maybe not. But this has nothing to do with player ego. We have already made our move. The needed have been done. Now it's left for Tammy and his father to make a final decision. Of course, that's if there is any to be made.

safarigirl:
azzin. Haba! Tammy of all people, how can you say we have pride if we want to keep running after someone who embarrassed us publicly?

Some are even making excuses for him, is it not a shameless behaviour? When Tammy is not Messi. How low can we go?

I am highly disappointed in anyone calling for Tammy. It just goes to show that we can never learn, these foreign players will keep taking us for granted if we continue with this terrible behaviour. Every single World Cup, we do this. We get rejected and still take the players who rejected us to World Cup.

We need to set a precedence, even if we don't go far in the WC because we did not take Tammy. I would rather that than throwing away our pride. Look at how France dropped Benzema, can we do that? That is pride, the national team is bigger than any individual player

Tammy offer almost the same clinical finishing of KC maybe even better as he shoots with both feet unlike KC and has an eye for goals, a real poacher but with Shakara, he can dribble. He then offers an aerial threat also he is deceptively fast with his long legs. He is quite resilient and strong but not as strong as Ighalo. However, I suspect world cup referees may not take too kindly to too much physical play. In this regard he may not need that level of strength. As he will draw fouls using intelligent play.

Tammy is in a somewhat struggling team who will not create many chances for him. So his goal tally in Swansea team will not be too.

Who is best open to debate. I still think Ighalo is best all rounder who creates a lot of chances and will bully most defences in the World cup.

Great one... Nacho just need to create another niche for himself in this current squad or else he will be on bench
.. Ighalo will most likely lead top 9 at the World cup

Uyo fans are the best.. Always supporting the team.

I remember, at some point, Lagos became very toxic for the super eagles. If we are playing badly, they will start booing the players.

Even with failure to qualify for the nations cup, the Uyo stadium is always full.

How is it possible to squeeze in a WCQ match and a friendly into the November window? Unless I don't understand you.
the window is between 9-10days. You can play two matches within that period. Like in Europe all their qualifiers has always been double header in each windows. So it's possible only if it well plan. A friendly can be schedule two days after our qualifiers- don't forget the aim is to test other players. So different sets of players can prosecute these matches

Please educate me.

Is Mikel Agu not a Porto player ? Or is there another one? He played on loan for V. Setubal but in reality has barely played for the senior team at Porto.

When did he then go to Turkey, like I said please educate me.

Mikel Agu has been on loan in Turkey since the summer.

We have 1more WCQ in Nov. It will be good if NFF can organize a friendly match alongside. It will give Rohr the opportunity to examine new players/players who have been called before but haven't really play.

We are only left with one more international break this year and the next one won't come earlier than March next year. I think other Continents will be wrapping up their qualifiers this oct and most of them will have Nov break to spare for friendlies. A friendly against a top african side won't be bad.

We have AFCon qualify in match too away match against sychilles

I agree on Iwobi.. Sarenren Bazee looks like a decent winger. Hopefully he gets over his injury worries soon, let's see what he can bring.

Mujtahida:

You have covered the whole ground. My greatest concern is that defence. But I'd prefer Iwobi playing from the centre so that he can pierce defences with his splitting passes although playing on the right offers the team tactical maneuverability.

Rohr hasn't gotten the ideal CMF and DMF pairing yet.
Truly Ezenwa has calmness. I wasn't even afraid for him yesterday even though I was under pressure.
If we can get that Tammy it would bolster our attack but Nwakaeme deserves to be tested yet.

No player should be GUARANTEED a spot just by allegiance switch. I'm against that. If he commits to Nigeria early, and shows that he deserves a spot. Why not? He has to demonstrate that he is good enough, regardless.

it can only be possible if our opponents will agree to come to Africa because FIFA rules does not support a team playing two games in two separate continents during one particular FIFA free window

Firstly, there is zero comparison.

Balotelli, Rooney, Ronaldo I can mention other but all were well truly established top class players when they in Manchester.

All of the above carry Oloshi babes (escort) Opio.

But remember that had all achieved so much and they didn't start fighting like a area boys after saying them no go pay.

Madness and utter stupidity on his part.

What seems to be ur problem with the matter? The escorts or him having sex? Are u telling me that there is an amount of starts u should make in the EPL before u can harbor prostitutes? He was de-arrested meaning he has not been charged with anything so he very well can learn from this and move on. This could be the moment that drives him to really dig in and work hard.

The Algerian game is now our first pre- world cup friendly and should be taken that way. We should see all the people on the bench that do not play. Every one must justify their place in the world cup.

Rorh won't make more than 3 - 4 changes to the lineup believe me.
