i hoped someone else would address this before I had to, emir is an Arabic title, it doesn't belong to fulani or hausas, hausas used to have seriki as the head of their clans before the advent of the Islam. Ilorin being a predominantly Muslim city and a or the major Islamic city in yoruba land have an Islamic ruler. There was never an Oba in Ilorin at any point in time though I'm not saying the yorubas in Ilorin if they so wished but it's up to them and not me, and most certainly not you or any igbo for that matter
