No body has approached Onomah. He is another version of Raheem Lawal and Alex Iwobi combined. grin
It's like there's somebody making sure that once you mention a foreign born that player never gets invited. So my advice is that you should not mention their names and I promise you they will be invited.

The Uyo fans deserve praise. I was happy with the turn out and more people are getting the jerseys by the day. Very soon we'll be having an all green and white stadium.truly our football is on the rise again. Recollecting that in those days it's only the drummer boys and their music groups will be putting on one glo jalamia.

Supporters club is losing it now... They now have faction and hes really affecting them...

Nike should subsidise the jersey jare...

Why did you think they are happy we qualified... You think is for our interest...

They will surely siphon money too that's Nigeria for us...

7months to world cup...
Just hope they use$12.5million or so well for the camping and training...

Before you know now... All members of the Senate and house of reps with their family will join them in Russia..

Pinnick NFF has done well especially since that endless challenge by Giwa.

Look at the number of sponsor deals brought in recently.

Question time:
Has there ever been a time we had such unity we have today in the super eagles?

Over to the elders

Ighalo was impressive yesterday, only that he didn't score. Did anyone notice, he was trying to pull off a similar thing that lead to our only goal in Yaounde. Coincidentally, it was Moses Simon again who was meant to finish it, but the latter's overambitious bicycle kick sent the ball wide.

komekn:

Tammy offer almost the same clinical finishing of KC maybe even better as he shoots with both feet unlike KC and has an eye for goals, a real poacher but with Shakara, he can dribble. He then offers an aerial threat also he is deceptively fast with his long legs. He is quite resilient and strong but not as strong as Ighalo. However, I suspect world cup referees may not take too kindly to too much physical play. In this regard he may not need that level of strength. As he will draw fouls using intelligent play.

Tammy is in a somewhat struggling team who will not create many chances for him. So his goal tally in Swansea team will not be too.

Who is best open to debate. I still think Ighalo is best all rounder who creates a lot of chances and will bully most defences in the World cup.

That's is one of the things am happy about... And I know more we come and I like one thing about shehu and akinwunmi giving the sponsors the credibility of their funds...

The other part am talking about is Nigeria government... Before you know now.. Money will be earmark for Super eagles for the preparation.. Will they release the money to appropriate quarters..? We don't know..

Honestly Rohr has a lot to do and he must be radical in his approach.

I want to see Ndidi and Onazi competing as DMF,one should be on d bench.

Mikel drop a little bit as CMF with player like Etebo or Ogu competing with him not Agu.

Iwobi doing his thing at d right side with Moses Simeon slugging it out with him

V.Moses doing his thing at d left side with d likes of Musa on d sidelines, remember Musa did it well from that angle against Argentina.

Iheanacho playing behinds d top 9 w be an idea coz it w give him more room to express himself

Ighalo as top 9 for now coz not yet feasible player to unsurp him,how i wish Tammy can be available to compete with him.

Balogun, Ekong are good as it's now though things need to be done regards availability of back up CB,Awaziem is available, hope players like Felix Uduokhai, Tournarigba Ojokojo, Irofa w be available for selection, not forgetting Omeruo.

Shehu Abdullahi is a revelation hope he can keep it up,good to have Aina who is comfortable in both full backs and with Echiejele, Ebuhei.Hope we can still find one or two players to slug it out with them for better selection

Goalkeeping dept our greatest headache no thanks to Ikeme health issue but thank God for Ezenwa calmness.I still believe in Enyeama hope he get good club in January to fight for a place in d team and with Akpeyi, Ajiboye, Alampasu, with these five we should get good three to represent Nigeria at WC.

For the no 9 slot, Ighalo, Iheanacho, Martins, Kayode, Nwakaeme, Dessers, Dennis Bonaventure, Olayinka, Awoniyi, Osimhen, Ideye and Tammy Abraham are all in contention provided any of them do well this season.

No favourism or sentiment should be attached to selection to the world Cup.

You do well you are in but if you no do well you are out. grin

I've maintained that Ighalo played well only he wasn't clinical cos he wanted to do it fancifully rather than keep it simple like Iwobi. One thing worries me though: we don't score from outside the 18yard box. All our goals have come from within the box. Our rate of converting free kicks is zero, from corners just one. We need to improve on all these.

Awaziem and Agbo must be tested against Algeria before been considered 3rd or 4th choice CB.

No player should hide in the congregation to the world Cup.

Exactly... That's AmajuPinnick goal I think... And we can read it from his moves... He's a Businesman it is all written all over him don't be Suprised with his next moves..

In other notes who doesn't depend on Nigeria? Nigeria make every single sector depend on her... That's the situation we find ourself...

it come on us sooner than we expect if the team continues to impress. Did you see those flags..? Sincerely I was blown away. I was once again proud to be a Nigerian.

Early last yr, most ppl I meet at the viewing centers for Nigeria matches are the elders(mostly in their 50s and above). But I couldn't believe what I've been seeing of recently. Yesterday's own was more or less like a Champions league game. Come see how people come shout for goal as if se we won a major trophy. To my suprise I left people seated still watching the celebration.

All I did was SMILE.

No I don't think he wanted to do it fancifully. I think he was under pressure, and wanted a sure sight at goal. He was not alert to convert half chances. The one Simon played to him, he should have anticipated it to go that direction, when Simon raced to lay the pass. Clinical forwards would have sprinted fast to connect it. Mweene would have been left helpless. Another case in point was when the ball fell to his left leg. He tried to settle to take the shot with his right, and a Zambian defenders caught up with him. Then there was this half chance he missed in the first half. I think he was not as daring for goals as he was against Cameroon in Uyo. And I will attribute that to the pressure he had to score. Ighalo is a very fine forward. He showed it in the EPL. But he somehow bows out to pressure when lots of expectations are put on him. I think he needs a special psychologist to work with him.
