Yes, true. But what's the drama about that Egypt penalty?

Not if a replay is ordered for the match against Uganda

For the no 9 slot, Ighalo, Iheanacho, Martins, Kayode, Nwakaeme, Dessers, Dennis Bonaventure, Olayinka, Awoniyi, Osimhen, Ideye and Tammy Abraham are all in contention provided any of them do well this season.

No favourism or sentiment should be attached to selection to the world Cup.

You do well you are in but if you no do well you are out. grin

I totally disagree with the do well requirement for selection. There are factors that can affect a good player doing well. A good example is how Machin is treating Kayode. Kayode deserves a better run of games. However, with a well thought out scanning and screening process, devoid of bias, we have a chance of building a true quality squad and selecting the best in each role.

The more reason why Lagos shouldn't be considered. I reckon the fans would have started booing yesterday while the score was still goalless.

Nothing good can come out of that attitude as it puts the players under more intense pressure. Not a good environment for optimum performance.

For someone who loves everything foreign, you should know that this is not how the motivate their teams
Our people need to be educated on these things. Imagine booing these foreign born guys. Them go just confuse. Look at how Balogun broke down in tears. Immense, accumulated pressure needed an outlet. Imagine booing such a guy. He will just score own goal.

You know there's a large contingent of Nigerians in the UK. Heard Peckham has been colonised and turned into mini Lagos. So all of this makes the Nigerian influence stronger in the UK than in Germany. See as Iwobi and Aina dey dig am yesterday. They got the rhythm jare.

Omo I wanted to ask ooo that is that not Kanu cos I saw the plaited hair. I like the way our ex internationals rallied round. Siasia was in the stadium. One people. I am still basking in the glow and the joy of our qualifying for the Mundial. Thank you God for this Iwobi.

Aina, kelechi and iwobi were rehearsing WO song by olamide a day before the match... That was the outcome... From iwobi snapchat...

That's why it is the trio that did the dance step after the game...

Yeah yeah... Kanu... Was live at the Stadium... According to his IG
.whem he entered the bus.. They were kind nervous grin
Them he shout one gyration song everybody shouter Papilloo... You know those gang Now...

Musa the head..

Assist kelechi

Second assistant Aweziem...

Dancers Aina iwobi... Lol..

Very playfull guys..

That should be one of the norms of a serious team.

I'll check him out the first chance I get but this one Wey me sef get more twitter followers than, I hope he can play ball grin

That guy singlehandedly promoted his team to the 1st tier in Holland.

He contributed 42 goals. Goals and assists.

He's gone to a bigger team now, 7 goals already I think.

YouTube is ur friend, go on there and see the quality of goals he's been scoring.

No player deserves a spot. An invitation? maybe.

If Tega is better than the rest, which I doubt, he deserves a spot. Although it will take a process like invitation, screening, trials etc but the best in every role deserves their spots.

as Egypt has won, there will be no need for that replay.

Bad calls are made all the time in football. It's not just skill, but luck as well. Ghana wasn't lucky and that was why their penalty in 2010 went over the bar

You can't tell the best by club form alone.. The only players that deserve a spot are those who have shown it with SE. That's why there will be friendlies etc. Tammy is getting no free pass. Even Aina didn't. No exceptions. Look at Rohr's body language grin

Football is not magic. Kayode can not take chances if the team does not create good ones. That is why I like forwards joining sides that creates loads of good chances.

What counts is weighing the factors, coming out with a system to select the best.

When I say deserves a spot, it is not literal but in the long run. However, I have not watched Tega to guess how good he is but the process Iwobi, Aina and co. went through is to check if they deserve spots on the starting line-up.

On top those foreign born you want try that shite? Iwobi was at first baffled by our culture of asking for things like money instead of autographs. He only added that we are very hospitable.
That strategy ain't gonna work.

I am not against Tammy playing for us. I am against Tammy playing for us at the 2018 World Cup

I have no sentiment just one objective let the best players go and do Nigeria proud.

Now that doesn't make any sense to me. WHY

2018 is a very long way to go a lot of water can go under the bridge. Players God forbid will get injured new players get discovered, some players will lose form.

I don't expect to see more than 65% of the current squad making it. Why because the season has just started let's see who is HOT and who is HOT at the end if the season.

I expect to see at least 10 friendly games with good top class team's. From some if these games some players may loose thier position. That's competitive progress.

I just Taya for our people o. It's not like the Tammy guy is Ronaldo or Messi na. We have several quality players in his position, I would have reasoned along with them if he is an attacking midfielder in the mould of Cesc Fabregas or Juan Mata or even Dele Alli.. But a player who is not even the first choice striker for Swansea city? Oh please!

Tammy is the first choice striker for Swansea.

Look, the same way I followed Balogun when he started out as a DMF before be was converted to CB, later RB and finally CB is the same way I followed most of our foreign players including Tiago Ilori whom I followed from his days at Sporting Lisbon to Granada, and from Granada to Bordeaux.

He was always making the team steady except when he was out due to injury.

Believe me, I know a very good player when I see one and you all should have known this since I am always a die hard supporter of these players even when they are nobody.

and now,u have started following Onomoh since he scored that goal, between him and fit Joel Obi and Ajagun and Sone Aluko, who should be called,or who is better?
