komekn:10 friendly games between now and June? Lol, e be like say you never sabi NFF....how many did Keshi's team play? How many international breaks are there sef that you are expecting ten games? At most, there will be six friendlies. And I expect a solid 75% of this team to be in Russia, thankfully, most of them are not injury prone |

Definitely the kinda players we need in the Super Eagle, not the people who wuld expect us to beg them. Unless you're Leo Messi, we ain't gonna beg nobody. O pari soetanoreoluwa: |

Germany only country to finish the qualifier with 100% win both me and away. I wish we get thrown in their group so we'll be as serious as we were in this qualifiers. |

safarigirl: You are replacing substantive objectivity with emotional sentiment. Coutinho is not loyal to Liverpool but in the last few games he has been MOTM and scored the crucial goals. Sanchez wanted out of Arsenal and has no loyalty but he has been the stand out player for Arsenal in last few games. Enlighten me what do you actually mean by LOYALTY |

komekn:Coutinho and Sanchez? Is it clubs yoi want to compare to nations? Dem no dey pay them salary? You think Sanchez and Coutinho would put in half the effort they do if the paychecks stopped? Tell me any top footballing nation that has collected a player that rejected them initially, look at how KP Boateng did Ghana at the WC against Germany. That is what happens when there is no loyalty Don't compare club football to national teams abeg 2 Likes |

forgiveness: Whether doing well or not is not a guarantee they are the best for the team. Invite a large pool of potentials and screen the best out. Simple. Look at De Bruyne who was on the bench of Chelsea and became the best in Bundesliga ahead of Robben and Ribery. So a player getting a regular shot does not mean he is the best. A while ago, there was a choir screaming Kayode because he was getting playing time in Austria (he was doing well). Now he finds himself in a club where he does not get the chance he needs, (he is not doing well). You can see playing time is the wrong criteria. Invite the potentials and select the best. 1 Like |

Napoleon55: Nooooo! I have been following Onomah tey tey and I have mentioned him here times without numbers but people keep shutting my mouth because they don't know him. How you wan take tempt me with Joel Obi na, when you know say I no go close eyes before I chose am? I will choose Joel Obi because he playing in one of the best leagues in the world and because of his experience as a midfielder. Nevertheless, I will like to see Onomah, Abdul Ajagun and Sone Aluko given the chance to prove themselves. 1 Like |

Joebie: Your club performance should translate to justification for SE call up, all things being equal. Add to that the quality of the league and the team you play for. Otherwise we will have players relying on past performances and glories. |

BascoVanVeli: What I am saying all these players at a very young age were established internationals top class world talents and killing it in thier respective clubs. In other words that had earned the right to be a bit foolish and reckless even if its still unacceptable. However, we have a player who cannot get on the bench has achieved literally nothing in his first season rejected by both managers. Who should be totally dedicated, focused and diligence in trying to get his career off the ground because right now it's almost grounded. Not getting himself drunk in the public domain with a bunch of loud mouthed Oloshi babes. These antics are not new he already has a poor attitude reputation in Watford. So all this time he didn't know he should buckle up and work hard. I'm sorry the guy is a |

Throwback to that lwobi's goal...l must say that's what you call a team goal, and lwobi like most Arsenal players functions more effectively as a team player. There were 13passes leading to the goal, great team work from the lads. 5 Likes |

daveP: That pass was a bit heavy. I remember once scoring a similar goal back then, not until I had to control the ball, move it to my right then curl the ball into the far corner. He was flat-footed, so he wouldn't have taken it one time. |

Icon4s:true. Senegal is another team I have wanted at the world cup since they lost to CIV in 2014...very strong team and deserving of a world cup slot... If we can have Nigeria, Egypt, Senegal, Tunisia and CIV, that will be top notch representation for Africa 1 Like |

komekn:this would only apply to new call ups, not tested and trusted players. Making drastic alterations to a wining team is very costly....you can't just discard players and bring in new ones lest you test team cohesion....the longer players spend together, the better they understand each other on the field. Look at how Keshi altered his AFCON winning team and look what happened to them eventually |
