Rohr ain't changing the line up against Algeria for new caps and experiments. Two things : he said he'd want Nigeria to maintain a perfect record in the WCQ and more importantly FIFA rankings which would determine the WC seedings on Dec 1.
For these reasons I don't see him changing the line up bar some few changes.

Already playing for first team but not regular

Sorry Iwobi, had never played one first team game for Arsenal before he played for Nigeria senior team SE.

He Iwobi was not even a regular in the England U18 he actually only played once. But played U17 & 16 games for England.

In that regard using the comparison of Iwobi's selection as a unit of measurement then we should automatically be inviting without delay.

Iorfa, Ojo, Tega, Tega, and Onyedinma.

Still can not understand why Aluko has not been invited.

On top those foreign born you want try that shite? Iwobi was at first baffled by our culture of asking for things like money instead of autographs. He only added that we are very hospitable.
That strategy ain't gonna work.

Once Ambode finishes the renovation of the national stadium, we will start seeing the Super Eagles in Lagos then we go know whether it's shite or not.

Besides, 7 years of our national team playing their games in some parts of the country with the exclusion of one part is not good enough for those fans in this part. grin

Let there be rotation.

Ighalo was impressive yesterday, only that he didn't score. Did anyone notice, he was trying to pull off a similar thing that lead to our only goal in Yaounde. Coincidentally, it was Moses Simon again who was meant to finish it, but the latter's overambitious bicycle kick sent the ball wide.

Ighalo was exceptional hold up play was good work rate non- stop.

At some point, Lagos became toxic.. Once Nigeria is playing badly, the fans will turn against the team. Booing the team always makes a bad situation worse.

What I am saying all these players at a very young age were established internationals top class world talents and killing it in thier respective clubs.

In other words that had earned the right to be a bit foolish and reckless even if its still unacceptable.

However, we have a player who cannot get on the bench has achieved literally nothing in his first season rejected by both managers. Who should be totally dedicated, focused and diligence in trying to get his career off the ground because right now it's almost grounded.

Not getting himself drunk in the public domain with a bunch of loud mouthed Oloshi babes.

These antics are not new he already has a poor attitude reputation in Watford.

I have no sentiment just one objective let the best players go and do Nigeria proud.

Now that doesn't make any sense to me. WHY

2018 is a very long way to go a lot of water can go under the bridge. Players God forbid will get injured new players get discovered, some players will lose form.

I don't expect to see more than 65% of the current squad making it. Why because the season has just started let's see who is HOT and who is HOT at the end if the season.

I expect to see at least 10 friendly games with good top class team's. From some if these games some players may loose thier position. That's competitive progress.
this Rohr, expect 90-95% of this current squad to make it to the WC as long they're injury free.
where are we going to discover new players from, between now and June next year, that we don't already know.
look how long it took before Aina made his debut, how about Ebuehi and Nwakeme that was discovered since,Rohr could not even trust them to play during the qualifiers, how much more taking new discoveries to the WC proper.
Rohr will not include more than 3 new players to the WC team.

we are not going to make the mistake we made in 2002 WC,where almost half of the squad was dropped.
what we need now is series of friendlies for the team to gel n b able to play as one unit.

Home of Zambia striker Alex N’gonga attacked for failing to score against Nigeria

By admin -
October 8, 2017, 7:18 pm

Power Dynamos striker Alex N’gonga’s family home in Chimwemwe Township in Kitwe has been attacked by thugs following Zambia’s 1-0 loss to Nigeria in a decisive 2018 World Cup qualifier.

Nigeria thus became the first African team to qualify for the global showpiece courtesy of Alex Iwobi’s second-half strike at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo.

Copperbelt province police commissioner Charity Katanga said a group of people emerged from a white Toyota Land Cruiser ACC 5492 and maliciously damaged two roofing sheets with stones.

Katanga said the group accused N’gonga of missing scoring chances that crashed Zambia’s hopes of qualifying to the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia.

She said police have launched a manhunt and a case of malicious damage to property has been opened.

And N’gonga’s mother Charity has told Muvi TV news that she feared for her life when she heard another person threaten to destroy the house completely.

We need the best in every role. Not the best selected by clubs in every role.

Iwobi’s Aunt, Cousin: Our Boy Has Made Us Proud, Deserves Chieftaincy Title

 1 October 8, 2017 1:14 pm

EXCLUSIVE By Izuchukwu Okosi: The big aunt of Super Eagles midfielder Alex Iwobi, Mrs Agnes Georgina Iwobi and his cousin, Thelma, have lavished praises on their relative following his goal against Zambia in the 2018 World Cup qualifier on Saturday evening, Completesportsnigeria.com reports.‎

Iwobi’s second half goal at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium Uyo secured a 1-0 win for Nigeria and ultimately a ticket to the 2018 World Cup in Russia.

Completesportsnigeria.com reached out to the relatives of the Arsenal forward who also scored when Nigeria beat Zambia 2-1 in the reverse fixture in Ndola last year.‎

Sir Chuka Iwobi, Mrs Iwobi’s brother-in-law, was the Anambra State Commisioner for Commerce and Finance in the second republic (1979-1983) during the administration of governor Jim Nwobodo. Alex Iwobi’s dad, also Chuka by name, is the third child of the former political appointee.

“I’m proud of my boy Alex. Whenever his club (Arsenal) play, the supporters would either come to the house to watch or they will congratulate me for his performance,” Mrs Agnes Iwobi, an 81 year-old retired primary school Head Teacher exclusively told Completesportsnigeria.com from the Iwobi family home in Onitsha, Anambra State.

“Last night’s noise after Alex scored was deafening. The celebration was too much. I’m glad a member of this family is a national hero and has put smiles on the faces of Nigerians,” the octogenerian stressed.

Thelma Iwobi, Alex’s cousin, who is a dermatologist based in Lagos also spoke to Completesportsnigeria.com the Arsenal youngsters’ impressive turnout for Nigeria.

“Alex deserves a chieftaincy award for this goal . I have been receiving calls and texts from friends and well wishers because of his performance ns goal against Zambia,” an excited Thelma told Completesportsnigeria.com

“You see, that is why a good name is better than money. Football has made Alex someone highly celebrated. I pray he does more for Nigeria.”

Alex Iwobi will now focus on club duties for Arsenal with his Premier League side billed to play Watford next week Saturday, October 14.

Iwobi: Sanchez, Ozil Departure Will Set Arsenal Back

 0 October 8, 2017 6:44 pm

Nigeria’s attacking midfielder Alex Iwobi fears that Arsenal will face “a huge setback” should star players Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil who are on the last years of their contracts decide not to extend and leave the club next year.

The contract of players will run out at the end of the 2017/2018 season.

“When they are fit they are unstoppable. They are both capable of changing a game or a season,” Iwobi whose goal on Saturday against Zambia qualified the Super Eagles of Nigeria for the 2018 World Cup in Russia told The Sun.

“They have a big decision to make. But it would be a huge setback to lose them because from the stats you can see we do need them for their goals and assists.

“For a team like Arsenal, we need to be aiming for the top four and we need what they bring. It will be great for them to stay. I’ve learnt a lot from them.

“Just the opportunity to even train with them has been amazing. They are two top-class players with great experience having played at the top level,” the former England youth international stressed.

It's a play on words, you can't earn the right to be foolish. I am not talking of religious or societal morality.

But it makes a lot more sense the reckless exuberance if you have actually achieved something. Not when you have done nothing and can't even make the bench most times.

Second aspect to this You still don't get it. MUD STICKS. Bringing the club or game into disrepute clause is very grey and ambiguous but can be used to cancel your contract.

There is a former African international not Yobo or Yak. Who was getting too close to an Oloshi babe in a major city in the North of England.

Cut the story short she accused him of rape. When he considered the cost of litigation and the initial damage to his reputation. He settled out of court paying the cut throat gold digging Oloshi babe over £100k. she signed a non- disclosure and nobody ever heard about it, it was never published but it happened.

That's why I said mud sticks, being charged is not the issue. Just being accused is bad enough. He is walking on a tight rope.
