Then you shouldn't say what you don't know because you never experienced the atmosphere.

They don't throw pure water always neither do they boo always. They do those things when necessary. Especially when they notice the players or coaches are not committed to the game.
doesnt quite justify d action na... Atleast they lost a few games in uyo without drawing a rain of purewater

i expect 90-95% making it to WC,there is no better player else where than the ones we have.
unless if the new play should go to EPL and score 20-25 goals before the WC,or go to Italy,Spain and Germany n score 30 goals.

Honestly, I was just being modest with that percentage.

this would only apply to new call ups, not tested and trusted players.

Making drastic alterations to a wining team is very costly....you can't just discard players and bring in new ones lest you test team cohesion....the longer players spend together, the better they understand each other on the field.

Look at how Keshi altered his AFCON winning team and look what happened to them eventually
a good coach will know this, not inviting players up and down,we should just identify the area we having weakness and try few new players there, not to invite someone to check if he will b better than Mikel or Moses.

Ighalo was also slow to the ball. He was behind the pace of the forwards. That was a big challenge yesterday. He is the kind of striker who does not attack spaces with his pace.

He does not make a good fit for an offensive strategy.

hmmmm so discarding him is the best right?

Your argument is way out of point. I gave my reasons why I called it backward.
We have just qualified playing in Uyo. So we now have a new home.. Why change the team's home now? Do you have a cogent reason, than stating that we won trophies in Lagos etc in the past? This is a new team, and they are now playing comfortably in Uyo.

I gave you points why your argument was way out of point.

Is it not in Calabar and Uyo they failed to qualify for Africa cup of Nations twice? shocked grin

Sorry Iwobi, had never played one first team game for Arsenal before he played for Nigeria senior team SE.

He Iwobi was not even a regular in the England U18 he actually only played once. But played U17 & 16 games for England.

In that regard using the comparison of Iwobi's selection as a unit of measurement then we should automatically be inviting without delay.

Iorfa, Ojo, Tega, Tega, and Onyedinma.

Still can not understand why Aluko has not been invited.

Got it wrong then... Thanks for the information ...i dont see Aluko getting invite soon... Let see what will happen by December.. We have 7months to go

I think it has to do with strategy. If we are sitting deep and need a strong forward to battle with defenders, Ighalo gets the pick. If we are going with an offensive strategy that will require a striker attacking spaces with pace, Nacho gets the nod.

Super Eagles na Super Eagles. You are not making point.

You claimed Lagosian behavior is wayward but I gave you fact to prove they had more success in Lagos than any other places.

Once Ambode finishes the renovation of the national stadium, we will start seeing the Super Eagles in Lagos then we go know whether it's shite or not.

Besides, 7 years of our national team playing their games in some parts of the country with the exclusion of one part is not good enough for those fans in this part. grin

Let there be rotation.

at least Uyo helped the team qualify for World Cup with a game to spare for the first time in over a decade, who cares about AFCON? You think if a country like Ghana could trade their two AFCON appearances in the last three years for a slot at the World Cup, they wouldn't?

You accuse someone of not knowing how to argue football, but you have only succeeded in sounding like a ten-year old boy as far as this stadium argument is concerned.

You can't even muster a sensible reason as to why Lagos should be the home ground, you just want to watch people being stoned with pure water so that you can laugh and belle go sweet you. Very juvenile thoughts undecided

scoring goalz,

have you thought about the supply first, especially that supply from Simon, check it again,

most of them are over-hit, hence his difficulty is reach and control,

look at that goal against Cameroun, if mikel had over hit it, me and you both know, there will be no goal,

even nacho wont have made any different COs he had been in that position before, against south africa

But iwobi came him and give us the goal...

See eh.. In football there is no perfect team... Players will continue to make mistakes.. Even the Ronaldo and Messi of these world still find it difficult to score some goals...

I repeat this is not the team for experiment ... We re done with experiment.. Do you when we have started doing experiment since 2002... ...

Those players need our credit... Remember we didn't qualify for last two nations cup... And qualified for WC in the suppose group of death..

Na lie you lie because I watched football at the National stadium steadily. Especially when we hosted major competitions.

I watched all our matches during the 2000 nations cup at the National stadium save the finals because of..... grin

There was no time the players where booed nor stoned because their games were entertaining. grin

If you play boring game you should expect to be booed.

However, I only witnessed booing and throwing of pure water when the U23 were thrashed by Togo in our last friendlies before the Olympics in 1996. grin

You no know wetin dey happen. grin
that's not true I still remember okunnowo being stoned during our second game against Congo which ended goalless

It's a play on words, you can't earn the right to be foolish. I am not talking of religious or societal morality.

But it makes a lot more sense the reckless exuberance if you have actually achieved something. Not when you have done nothing and can't even make the bench most times.

Second aspect to this You still don't get it. MUD STICKS. Bringing the club or game into disrepute clause is very grey and ambiguous but can be used to cancel your contract.

There is a former African international not Yobo or Yak. Who was getting too close to an Oloshi babe in a major city in the North of England.

Cut the story short she accused him of rape. When he considered the cost of litigation and the initial damage to his reputation. He settled out of court paying the cut throat gold digging Oloshi babe over £100k. she signed a non- disclosure and nobody ever heard about it, it was never published but it happened.

That's why I said mud sticks, being charged is not the issue. Just being accused is bad enough. He is walking on a tight rope.
