Pinnick did not beg him before. If we make another move then that will amount to begging. I don't see it as humiliation. If anything, Pinnick should be the one to regret putting everything out in public. The boy was pressured to make a statement in public. Something that would have been kept in private. Pinnick has to remember his mistakes, when he make future approaches. Icon79: 3 Likes |

I agree! He is good enough for Russia. But like I said, he needs a personal psychologist to help his career. He has the potential to even be a better striker in terms of goal returns. He can play at the highest level. He just needs to believe in himself more, and not be overwhelmed by the occasion. junnyjake: |

Nigeria seems to have made some new enemies after qualifying for the world cup oo .. Come and see people saying we are just going to the world cup as tourists.. How pathetic! Africans will never put their indifference aside and support their own.. Maybe its after we make it to the quarter final that other Africa countries will agree that we have always represented the continent well at the world cup../ |

forgiveness:That was when rogues, touts, louts, thugs, knaves and hardened criminals ruled in Lagos and infected the State with the spirit of agberoism. Lagos has shifted and is shifting from that paradigm due to the civilising efforts of the last and current administrations. Besides a whole new generation of Lagosians are coming into their own who did not witness the thug life there. So I believe that if a game is hosted in Lagos they would behave well. |

Yes, Pinnick should be blamed 100% for that debacle. Someone who is trying to "steal" a player from another country doesn't going around broadcasting his plans on the world wide web and taking silly photo ops. The way he handled the whole thing was so amateurish that he should've promptly resigned if Nigeria were a civilized country. O pari soetanoreoluwa: 1 Like |

Joebie:Yea Jobie, Seyi Olofinjana is a close pal and I remember on Nairaland someone was saying Seyi should be 40 years I just told d guy to keep shut. I have a friend who had d opportunity to be in d camp of Japan 93 squad at d age of 16 but later dropped at d last minute for Celestine Babayaro, this my very friend was in SSS 3 during Japan 93 camping. My cousin was taken out of d country to Italy for professional career at d age of 18 by Churchill Olishe.A friend went to Ajax trial courtesy d same Churchill Olishe in conjunction with Chris Eeseka at d age of 20 real age. These are d guys u w believe they are above 25. My son is just 8 years old, taller than most 10 years old kids and play football better than his peers. Am not saying we don't cheat but d way we exaggerate our players age is uncalled for.I can give countless examples. 3 Likes |

We never blame Pinnick, who I believe is more than 50 years for that mishap, na 19 year old who acted more professionally? na wa o Tammy's response was professional. Never talking down either on England or Nigeria. Just reiterating he is still committed to England [at least in the meantime] Icon79: |
