Pinnick did not beg him before. If we make another move then that will amount to begging.
I don't see it as humiliation. If anything, Pinnick should be the one to regret putting everything out in public. The boy was pressured to make a statement in public. Something that would have been kept in private.
Pinnick has to remember his mistakes, when he make future approaches.

Icon79:
Bro., take it from me, after all this public humiliation by Tammy Abraham, if Mr Pinnick ever go back to beg him again ..... I will singlehandedly run him out of the office in Abuja.

And I ain't kidding you either!

After all, we've got more talented players than him in Nigeria but we're just too disorganized to discover them.

dude shouldn't have called his bank to get the transaction reverted. What is 2,000 pounds? Ain't worth it considering this bad publicity. He for allow the girls carry their wahala go.. He needs guidance.. Let's not forget he is only 21.. small pikin sense.

komekn:

It's a play on words, you can't earn the right to be foolish. I am not talking of religious or societal morality.

But it makes a lot more sense the reckless exuberance if you have actually achieved something. Not when you have done nothing and can't even make the bench most times.

Second aspect to this You still don't get it. MUD STICKS. Bringing the club or game into disrepute clause is very grey and ambiguous but can be used to cancel your contract.

There is a former African international not Yobo or Yak. Who was getting too close to an Oloshi babe in a major city in the North of England.

Cut the story short she accused him of rape. When he considered the cost of litigation and the initial damage to his reputation. He settled out of court paying the cut throat gold digging Oloshi babe over £100k. she signed a non- disclosure and nobody ever heard about it, it was never published but it happened.

That's why I said mud sticks, being charged is not the issue. Just being accused is bad enough. He is walking on a tight rope.

Ighalo was impressive yesterday, only that he didn't score. Did anyone notice, he was trying to pull off a similar thing that lead to our only goal in Yaounde. Coincidentally, it was Moses Simon again who was meant to finish it, but the latter's overambitious bicycle kick sent the ball wide.

The skill and composure he showed there was pure class.

I agree! He is good enough for Russia. But like I said, he needs a personal psychologist to help his career. He has the potential to even be a better striker in terms of goal returns. He can play at the highest level. He just needs to believe in himself more, and not be overwhelmed by the occasion.

Nigeria seems to have made some new enemies after qualifying for the world cup oo grin grin .. Come and see people saying we are just going to the world cup as tourists.. How pathetic! Africans will never put their indifference aside and support their own..
Maybe its after we make it to the quarter final that other Africa countries will agree that we have always represented the continent well at the world cup../

Na you dey lie.

Our second match in AFCON 2000 against Congo goalless draw is an example.

During the match I watched on TV as the fans were throwing bottles at Gbenga Okunowo when he was about to take a corner kick.

If you were at the stadium and you missed that, I suggest that you start watching from the TV to see better. The team bus was even stoned even though we didnt lose the match

Bros, bottles or any dangerous objects were never allowed in the bowl. So, how you take see bottle na em me I no understand? grin

You point is clear. You must have the right mentally of a champion before you embark on playing in Lagos. angry

The reaction of Lagos fans will be great if they played the match against zambia in Lagos because they will first of all demoralize the Zambians with booing and defying noise and it could spur Eagles to score more goals with a more entertaining game.

But if they eventually lose after all the wahala dey go through, bros.... grin

That was when rogues, touts, louts, thugs, knaves and hardened criminals ruled in Lagos and infected the State with the spirit of agberoism. Lagos has shifted and is shifting from that paradigm due to the civilising efforts of the last and current administrations. Besides a whole new generation of Lagosians are coming into their own who did not witness the thug life there. So I believe that if a game is hosted in Lagos they would behave well.

The subject of discussion was about the attitude of fans and it was tbaba1234 that started it. It was not moving or changing location as you thought. grin

tbaba1234:
Uyo fans are the best.. Always supporting the team.

I remember, at some point, Lagos became very toxic for the super eagles. If we are playing badly, they will start booing the players.

Even with failure to qualify for the nations cup, the Uyo stadium is always full.

And I replied this.

forgiveness:

Once Ambode finishes the renovation of the national stadium, we will start seeing the Super Eagles in Lagos then we go know whether it's shite or not.

Besides, 7 years of our national team playing their games in some parts of the country with the exclusion of one part is not good enough for those fans in this part. grin

Let there be rotation.

Yes, Pinnick should be blamed 100% for that debacle. Someone who is trying to "steal" a player from another country doesn't going around broadcasting his plans on the world wide web and taking silly photo ops.

The way he handled the whole thing was so amateurish that he should've promptly resigned if Nigeria were a civilized country.

We never blame Pinnick, who I believe is more than 50 years for that mishap, na 19 year old who acted more professionally? na wa o
Tammy's response was professional. Never talking down either on England or Nigeria. Just reiterating he is still committed to England [at least in the meantime]
