@ proudmum38, don't worry OK? Baby is just fine. Wen u want to repeat D scan, do it in a different place. 90 percent of d time, pple Wey dey do scan nor sabi how to correctly interpret D results. Abeg keep drinking ur Milo jare and remember that all things work together for ur good.

chai, antenatal is good oo. imagine u working in a bank n not in d office but in d hospital for antenatal. I feel relieved.....ao I wish antenatal is everyday joor.....

I think 28 or 27 weeks. Lol. Heartburn na my own padi. I complained at the clinic was given gelusil but it stopped working after 1 week.last week wednesday i complained abt it again the nurse just told me jejely say na pregnancy package say he no fit go.but she gave me jawasil. It works but only gives temporary relief. She also adcised against peppery and hot food

I suffered serious heartburn for weeks, up all night, miserable and crying my eyes out. Mine was so bad that even water gave me heartburn, none of those antacid works until I began to drink a glass of cold milk, works like magic. Mix a spoon or two of powdered milk in a glass of cold water, drink after meals, the heartburn should stop in few mins. Nevertheless, stay clear of spicy meals and make sure u eat at least an hour before you lay down.
I also chew gum til I doze off when I don't want to drink milk as milk is not in the list of my favorite drinks, gum works really well too.

I'm typing this from scan center!


Went for scan this morning, was told to come back for a repeat by 4pm. So I went back for the repeat scan only to be told that there's fetal node without cardiac activity!

I'm 12wks today but scan says 9wks....Was told it could be a missed abortion, that if that is the case I will have to flush it and start all over again since baby is not progressing! But I should come back in two weeks time to repeat a scan and see how it goes before final conclusion!

About the rhesus, its not compulsory you use your company's hospital since u said they ain't taking you seriously. Please get a good lab and get the test done. im also rhesus negative,and after doing the test in my clinic,i still went to a private lab for confirmation cause it can be deadly for the baby if one tests positive and isn't given extra care. The essence of the test if to know if ur blood contains some antigens that can fight against your baby. and if it does,extra care will be given to your baby to avoid still birth but it doesn't in any way harm the mother. About the rhesus factor issue, pls how does this test work? I am rhesus negative but I always straight up take my rhogam after each delivery, for the first I took twice,one at 28wks and the other after delivery. I have never had to do any further testing during pregnancy since I am certified rhesus negative. My doctor thinksi should just the injection straight up since there it's a tiny chance of the baby being rhesus negative.
Pls is there a way this test can give a chance of not take anti-D? As the price is not smiling, I don't know the current price but someone said its 30-40k, I have no idea as I got my last one 2yrs ago for N16,500.
Pls does any one know the current market price?

Nothing, you've just lost your mucus plug which is a good thing, it means your body is preparing for labour but does not guarantee immediate contractions, it varies for individuals cos some lose theirs for weeks before contraction,some for days and some a few hours before contractions kicks off. I lost mine at about 8pm and began to contract sat about past 3am,had my baby about 9hrs later.

So chill and watch how things progress. But it's a cause to smile cos me never even see the plug set, if I lose my mucus plug today, I will put on my dancing shoes and celebrate.

I think it's important you take it after your first. My GYN didn't want to just give me the injection so he kept testing(Indirect combs test) to monitor.

When I bought incase baby wasn't negative, I got for 32k.

truly, no two pregnancies are the same. If i want to have serious heartburn now, a cup of cold/hot milk would do it,
and that's what stops heartburn for you. hmmm
