soetanoreoluwa:so many things goes on behind the scene and don't forget this is the biggest stage of football. I think you know that Tammy is the son to Amaju's friend-so much for football politics. So many players will start performing for their clubs and national team lobbying will begin. |

Mujtahida:Mikel, Ndidi, S. Moses all took shots outside the box. S. Moses own lacks enough power. One thing lacking was composure. I don't know if that can be taught. I would have ask Iwobi and Iheanacho to teach other team members. We also misplaced so much passes. 1 Like |

Mickael2: I never said we will win 3:0 My quote was that I expect a 2-3 goals wining margin and a generous officiating. My guess on the score line wasn't pin point but you can see the generous officiating I mentioned earlier It is very clear that we will be getting the benevolent rub of the green with 50-50 calls in the forceable. I don't think you understand the process of switch of allegiance. Besides as regards the steps that were taken by Pinnick, and the developments, his reaction etc, when I get the time I will analyze everything and break it down for you. In fact i'm going to write something like an article here, taking all the statements made by the parties involved into context. Remember even then I was saying it here that he didn't turn Nigeria down, and that Pinnick never said he chose Nigeria. some of you felt differently.. Right now the media is saying Tammy has now made a U-turn. We need to learn to read the quotes and read between the lines. The headlines are just a spin. There is no such thing as a U-turn, as he never turned NIgeria down in the first place. Let me ask you a few questions, maybe you can read between the lines. Why didn't Tammy tell the English press that there was a meeting with NFF/Pinnick as regards switching to Nigeria, and that his agent and dad were present? Why wasn't he specific about the meeting? Why did he only say that his dad and Pinnick were friends and didn't say more? Think safarigirl: 1 Like |

Very realistic list, as regards how Rohr has been doing things. After our Algeria match, we will have to revisit this list Only Dessers looks out of place here, just because I don't think Rohr has said anything about him. But all the same, I think he deserves a look in. Modified As regards Solanke, I don't think we will succeed in getting him. But it's worth the try. safarigirl: |

Let's see what he got in him. ................................................................................. BELGIAN-NIGERIAN STRIKER DESSERS TO AUDITION FOR ROHR BEFORE EAGLES GAME AGAINST ALGERIA Belgium born Nigerian forward Cyril Dessers is among a set of players under consideration for a call up to the Super Eagles camp in Morocco ahead of their clash against Algeria. Nigeria will hold a training camp in Morocco before their dead rubber final World Cup 2018 Qualifiers tie against Algeria, and a friendly game has been planned before the game. Dessers has been placed under close watch by coach Gernot Rohr of the Super Eagles with the performance of the FC Utrecht forward closely been watched by scouts of the Franco-German coach. The forward who is eligible for Nigeria and Belgium has already declared his intention to represent Nigeria despite having one call up to the Belgium U20 although he didn’t get to play. 22 year old Dessers has four goals in the first seven games of the Dutch top flight league for Utrecht, the team he joined in the summer from NAC Breda where his 22 goals haul helped the team to promotion to the Dutch first division. Joebie:Dessers has been known to Rohr. I earlier I posted a news dated 20th August where an official of the NFF was reported as saying that Dessers has been brought to the attention of Rohr and that he doesn't have switch issues but it's all up to Rohr. I just saw news now on Dessers. 1 Like |

Moses actually did well. Based on what we've known him for, he was below par against Zambia. That was my assessment of him after the game. That's how I think highly of him. You are spot on, on that. Mujtahida: |

If I were Tammy's agent, I would tell him to say exactly what he said to the media. I'm sure the boy got professional advice on that. There was no better way to have said it after being put in that position. Loogan: 1 Like |

Aina is a temporary fix for LB. we've seen someone better than fry pan (Echiejile). As regards scouting, we already know our options. All we need to do is make the move, get them, and let's see if they can even beat Aina at LB. if not they are not good enough o.. Aina for now is our wing back -- both left and right. With the little i've seen of him, I rate him higher than "you know who" Mujtahida: |
