Nigeria 10 October, 2017 MWEENE – UNFAIR TO JUDGE SUPER EAGLES WITH THEIR PERFORMANCE AGAINST US Captain of the senior national team of Zambia Kennedy Mweene says the Super Eagles of Nigeria should not be judged based on their display on Saturday in Uyo. Nigeria didn’t hit same height like they did against Cameroon in the last round of games and also in their 3-1 win over Algeria in their second game of the World Cup Qualifiers. Speaking to Owngoalnigeria.com, the experienced shot stopper said the way Zambia played made it difficult to see the real Super Eagles, hence they shouldn’t be judged based on the game. ”Look, I think we cannot judge the Nigerian team as at now. We (Zambia) might be a very difficult team to play with. The way we played against Nigeria, it won’t be the same when they play other teams”, Mweene said. ”So for me it will be unfair to judge them based on our game against them, we still need to watch the Super Eagles in the coming games, you know they will have a lot of friendlies before the World Cup, then we’ll be able to see how good they are. ”There are a lot of youngsters in the team but they are youngsters with experience. I think they’ve a good and formidable team which can represent Africa well in Russia”, he said. Maxwell Pius source: owngoalnigeria.com Cc Joebie, I followed your instructions on how to upload pics in an article but still not working. I opened a new tab for the pics, copied the url and wrapped it with the image tags but look at how it came out. Infact if you click on the url the picture opens. What could be the problem? Cc Joebie. Yayyyyyy I got it. Thanks 5 Likes 1 Share |

BascoVanVeli:I don't think so. Nigeria not qualifying for AFCON is a big minus to his claim. Mo Salah stands in good stead to take the award. Why Sane made the top 3 in last year's award in his place is a big mystery to me. |

chrisooblog:Thank u,sometimes we analyze football as if it is ABC but is more than that As a defender there are players that we always give u problem no matter how superb u are,i still remember how our own Victor Anichebe turned David Luiz to a school boy in one of d premierships match,do we now say David Luiz lacks it as a defender and Anichebe always an issue to David Luiz. In US 94 we paraded very slow CBs in Okechuckwu and Nwanu but faster fullbacks in Eguavoen, Iroha and later Emenalo,so why noise on Balogun just coz of Zambia match. Some even said age,d age that doesn't count against Algeria, Cameroon but suddenly that age was an issue against Zambia. Thank u for saying Balogun remain d best defender we have for now. |

tbaba1234: Dessers is older than Awoniyi,, Peter Olayinka and Denis Bornadventure and they are also improving. In your estimation, is the Dutch second tier League better or higher than the German second tier League and the Dutch first tier League where Awoniyi played in the last seasons before coming to a better league? If Awoniyi wasn't doing well why did his coaches still played him regularly (Eredivisie)? 1 Like |

forgiveness: Oga, are you reading my posts at all or you just like to argue? What was Awoniyi's performance like last year in Eredivise? The question is who is ahead not who is older.. I think it is clear 1 Like |

Mujtahida always make sure you have one opening img tag and one closing img tag -- not more than one pair. like this --> [img]your PIC url here[/img] Same applies when you want to bold a text like this --> [b] and the corresponding closing b tag |

Xzbit91:God bless u,honestly sometimes am always surprised with d way some always try to shield some players from blame. Agu made us to have better 2nd half?u know that assertion is damn funny. This is a player that find it too difficult to replace Onazi perfectly. At d break time coaches realized that d substitution was a vital mistake and Ndidi was instructed to play in front of him in d 2nd half to salvage d situation. A radical coach would have remove him in d same 1st half, just too obvious he wasn't prepared for d match and it would have been worst if he continue in that position. We should thank Alex Iwobi for good 2nd half performance, nothing more.He came into d game and brought d best out of our players, everything come into shape d moment Iwobi entered and good he had a goal that w be remember for life in d history of Nigeria football. 1 Like |

tbaba1234:which do you think will be better.. To top our group or to qualify as the second.. (second means we'll play a team that tops) the super eagles fare better playing against top teams but when we play mid team or teams a little below average we struggle... BtW like rohr i want germany in the group stage.. If that means avoiding them in the round of 16/QF/SF |
