Yay, now getting worried o. cheesy

After acknowledgement email that my application has been received at Sheffield on Monday last week, no "decision email" yet.

This is the 7th working day after acknowlegement of receipt o.

I did priority service.

My travel date is this week Sunday (15th), meaning I have just 3 working days.

Now getting worried o.

Hoping I wont regret not following justwise's advice that I should do super priority.

Hi gents and ladies,
I submitted my online application for business visitor visa on the 5th of September and did biometrics on the 12th of the same month. After 15 working days I called UKVI and was told a decision has been made on my application but today is 7 working days after they made a decision and I am yet to get my passport back.
Decision was made on the 29th of September which I reconfirmed by sending a mail to them which they replied.

Please what could be the problem...please I need answers as I am about loosing an opportunity.what can i do to escalate my condition.
Thanks.

Dear Sir/Madam

Thank you for applying for a UK visa.
Due to it being our busiest period, I am afraid we are unable to make a decision on your application within our usual timescale. We aim to make a decision on your application before 31 October. If for any reason we are unable to do so, we will write to you to update. Staff at the visa application centres or contact centres have no influence on cases and cannot provide any further advice so we recommend you do not attend or call the contact centre. Please do not go to the visa application centre until you have received written confirmation that a decision has been made on your application and that your passport is ready to be collected.
We understand this will be frustrating to you and regret any inconvenience caused.
Thank you for your understanding.

Kind regards

I called them now. Told they had made a decision, but can't say whether they had dispatched my passport to Lagos.

Told priority takes 2/3 days.

Good day Everyone

Sometimes in 2006, after my NYSC service, I approached an agent that I intend travelling to UK. He arranged my documents that I have once travelled to Turkey and I had a transit stop over at London, and other documents. The application was submitted in Abuja office and I later got to know full details of this antiques when I went to collect my parcel.
I was denied the visa based on this docs, can't really lay thoughts on other complain.
In 2010, I applied to UK again with assurance from a friend that the embassy cld not have the records anymore. I was denied
the visa this time, with reason that I concealed truth abt my former application and was banned for 10 years to run from my previous application.
2010, I was married with a kid, gainfully employed then which made me reapplied.
my salary presently is 5.6M pa. with two kids.
kindly help gurus in the house with possible advice. Apology for abbreviation.
Do I stand a chance to re-apply
Can I apply with my wife, she is nt with any certificates but speaks good English.
What are the things I'll do .
God bless u for your candid concerns.

Those 10 years will likely be counting from when you were banned: i.e. from 2010. Best you wait till 2020 before you consider the UK. Meanwhile you can try other countries.

If I hear from them on Friday, challenge is if I will be able to pick it same day. Although my office is 10 minutes walk from the visa office in VI.

My flight is Sunday night.

You have to submit what you have at the moment since your business is not registered

Noting to worry about as our worry does not even mean anything to them. Decision will be made and they will get back to you when they are ready.

Use their complaints platform, though it takes up till a week before they reply. I used it once and got a reply after I have sorted it out myself.

Thank you Lamakinde,

I have done that, it's better than nothing, I pray they reply in time

Good morning house, thank you all for selfless support. Please help check this out and advc on what to do as the refusal letter says no right to appeal and administrative review.

Note: I did not make nor receive deposit/s that total sum of 410,000 in my account between 27/07/17 and 24/08/17 as claimed by the ECO.

I only received 66,523.72 and 88,992.65

Thank you.

The 410,000 is the sum of the other column between July and August. Since we can't see the balances, we can't say if they were actual deposits or withdrawals. Except you are inferring that the VO can't read a bank statement.

I'm sure you didn't tell them over the phone that it is priority. Otherwise they woul have told you it will be within 2/3 days. The 10 days is the standard answer, for standard service.

They said same to me but when I reminded them it was priority they said within 2/3 days.
