I qualified in 2000 I evaluated my ACA with Wes in 2015 and they said it was not equivalent of Canadian qualification but said it was 2 years professional study in accounting. Has anyone on here recently (as in 2017) successfully evaluated their ACA as equivalent of BSc? Issyman: |

Kai! Now, I'm feeling left behind. I'm leaving in January, it seems so far now that I've got my approval! lol. What province are you going? Ethiopian Air has some very good rates and there's been some positive reviews about them. I'll most likely try them, you should do the same.

Ontario is my destination. The fear of that cold! at some point we'll have to face it right. December is pretty cold too. Hope you've started making arrangements for your winter jackets? I remember seeing a suggestion here that we should check Yaba for something warm and buy when we land Canada Gereal: |

yimiton: Left behind ke? We are only doing short landing in December.. Still unsure when we'll be leaving for good. Ethiopian rates look good but read some Trip adviser reviews about their very disorganized Addis airport Where there's a moderate layover. (No energy for wahala with two kids in tow) Hoping to snag a good deal on Turkish or even BA....( fingers crossed) Destination: Ontario province for now. 1 Like |

I doubt that professional qualifications are equivalent of BSc degrees any where in the world (they are mostly classified as Associate degrees). University degrees (academic) are usually different from professional qualifications, so I would understand WES' decision. I guess this is why ACCA has a MOU with Oxford Brookes University, where you can write a final project to get a top-up BSc degree. I'm not exactly sure how this works because I'm not in the management sciences, but I remember a colleague did this a few years ago. abyurla: |

Really!? All the reviews I read here were pretty positive, although, I didn't check TripAdvisor. Could it be that they've improved their services or people just have much higher expectations than Nigerians? Were they specific about the result of the disorganisation? Maybe lost luggage etc? I'll be with my 2 little tots too (first will be 3 years and 11 months while the other will be 1 year and 6 months). Good thing is my husband will be there to ensure things are in order and we'll be landing for good. I'll find out more about them before we finalise. I don't want my precious luggage lost in any confusion. teeoba: 4 Likes |

yimiton: I am leaving Easter. Seems so far away given the speed with which I got PPR but there are some things I can't hasten. Heard that Ethiopian is building a new terminal that will be of international standard. Don't know when it will be ready. |

Nobody seems to talk about other provinces like Newfoundland, PEI, Yukon, New Brunswick. Is it that there are no Nigerians living there or migrating there? |

Nigerians are there. We are everywhere, just that the population is more in the West. I lived in Newfoundland for more than 3 years and I have friends living in PEI. primeson1: |
