It really depends on what you want, I got a quote for concierge service full package, I also got for accomodation only, I still have not decided if I want to use either of them or rent something in sugarland close to the drs office as that is where I would visit the most, hospital visit would be just once, for delivery. Let me know [qwuote author=beautyuche post=61330491] @anizi pls what is the cost of accommodation richmond oakkbend i am also planing same period mid feb to early may. Thanks[/quote] |

Vlesparza:Thanks for your response. i requested for an invoice for cesarian delivery and intend to pay it next week before we leave. The idea is if my wife delivers via normal vaginal delivery, they can refund my balance, if for any reason she has C/S then i am covered. I asked them whether that is possible and they said yes. I just need a candid advice whether it is safe to do so. Thank you. 1 Like 1 Share |

In the spirit of giving back: Let me start from the beginning I had my B1/B2 visa renewed via Dropbox. We were to go on holiday but work happened for lehub and trip was cancelled. We decided to give birth in USA and I jammed this thread in the course of my research. I studied and asked questions and took notes like kilode. Fast Forward to August 17th MIL Applied for a visa as well. VO: What are you going to the US for? MIL: to assist my DIL who is travelling for childbirth with her toddler VO: What state? MIL : Houston, Texas VO: pick up your visa in 3 days None of the docs she went with was checked at all. October 5th Left Lagos via Delta airline with Toddler and MIL. Flight was Lagos>>Atlanta>>Houston. Chai!!Should have chosen better seats but no wahala when baby comes na keto and gym things to lose weight Arrived Atl on Friday by 5.45 ish am. My LO decided to poop. So while others are getting off, i am in the restroom changing his diaper so we are behind on the queue.( Blessing in disguise i guess) It gets to our turn. CBP: What are you here for? Me: To have my baby CBP: Where are you headed? Me: Houston CBP: How much do you have on you? Me: Bleep CBP: OK Since you declared food and Bleep$ i will have to send you to agriculture and you have to fill a form so u won't be disturbed about the $$. Don't worry you won't be charged. Takes our finger prints and stamps us in for 6 months. At Agriculture: We take a seat and wait our turn. After about an hour, we are called. CBP:Get your bags around here pls Me: tries wheeling a trailer of 6 bags CBP: Alarmed!!ALL those yours? ( you go dear bags naw) Me: Yes CBP: don't worry, i will come around myself. ( he comes around) Did you pack your bags yourself? Me: Yes CBP: How much do you have on you? Me: Bleep$ CBP: show me (He comes very close to me to show him in my bag. Said i should not bring em out. He saw the envelope and says that's okay. He didn't open it o. What if it was naira sef. Shows me another declaration form and I sign off) That's okay you can go. Have a safe flight. ( no bag was opened at all) Me: thank you ( I start to struggle with the bags) CBP2 walks up to me. Are u resident here? Me: No CBP2: What are you here for? Me: childbirth CBP2: why not S.A or Uk Me: I don't like S.A and UK visa takes long for application and I already have a US visa and your healthcare is cool especially for us self pay patients.. CBP2:He smiles. Helps me wheel our kaya to the connecting flight place and wishes me the best. We board right on tum and arrive Houston. Saw my doc on Monday and chilling now. Got a flu shot that has made me ill see and my toddler just recovered as well. The favour was just God all the way. Did I mention that i had my file arranged but never brought it outta my bag cos they asked for nothing? 18 Likes |

Uniquezuri: Wow. THANK GOD for you. I tap into your testimony. Please Dear experienced people. I still haven't found a solution to uploading my passport after application has been submitted, payment made and the interview date has been confirmed. A passport was uploaded for me alright but it didn't fit the requirement and so did not display and it was stated on the confirmation form that my passport didn't meet the requirements. Hubby's own however met the requirements so is showing on the confirmation page. When I log into the application it says the application I'm trying to retrieve has been submitted and so should choose to "view confirmation page" or "start a new application. Viewing the confirmation page doesn't give any options to upload photo or edit anything. Please is there anyway I can upload a proper picture now and how? please. Thank you. 1 Like |

urblackpearl: Thank you so so so much for your response urblackpearl. If I understand you correctly; after clicking on "Retrieve Application" I can click "start a new application" instead of "view application" and this will enable me fill another form and upload the passport and this will not affect the initial application and Confirmation details? Please did this affect your interview date? Did you have to reschedule? How long did it take to get a response to your email requesting that the new DS160 form be linked to your profile? Thank you so much. I really do appreciate your prompt response. |

Hello House. Arrived L.A. yesterday 11th October via Turkish. Airline service is just there jare. I paid for a lounge to chill for my 7hr+ layover. requested for wheelchair at the Turkish airline care point. So after landing, got wheeled to a stern looking (so i thought) white haired male CBP. Transcript below: Cbp: (smiling widely, reaching for my passport) you've been here before? Me: No, first time Cbp: wow, welcome to America. How long are you here for? Me: 3 months Cbp: u gonna be staying at this address the whole time (referring to my declaration form) Me: Yep CBP: u gonna be with family or friends? Me: Family Cbp: oh great. I see you got food. what kinda food do u have. Me: Dried fish, ogbono, ground crayfish/pepper, yam...continues listing Cbp: cuts in....so just all kinds of dried fish right? Me: errrm ....sort of Cbp: (scans my fingers and stamps me in for 6 months) enjoy ur stay! Me: is that all? u didnt ask what im here for. I'm having my baby Cbp: (shrugs and smiles) well that's okay as long as you informed the embassy. Congratulations! Just like that! spent just abt 2 mins! We applied for B1/B2 and told the VO we were going for childbirth. Hubby will join me later. So got wheeled to baggage claim. the guy loaded my bags and a cop brought a dog up to me to sniff me and my bags. the dog kept sniffing my bags but did not bark, the cop even had to pull the dog away saying let's go! Alakoba dog, dunno what he was sniffing! So, got wheeled out to meet my uber. spent max of 10mins at the LAX airport in total. it was a breeze! I had all d docs in the world plus cash and nothing was asked for. So grateful to God! 16 Likes |

urblackpearl: Thank you so very much dear. You are a life saver. GOD Bless you. I apologize for the plenty questions on one issue... but I'm such a novice right now and my interview date is already here ... Please help see if the email reads okay, all the required info contained or if it's too much. Dear Sir/ Madam, I completed my Non immigrant Visa application on xxxx and have been scheduled for interview on xxxx, However my passport didn't upload successfully and I read on the confirmation page to come along with a passport photo to the interview. But going through my interview confirmation page I noticed the message that applicants whose passport photos did not upload will be turned back. I researched and found that I should fill a new application and send the new application ID to this email address requesting that it be linked to my initial application and profile. Kindly assist with linking my new application with my old one. Old Application No: Xxxx New Application No: Xxxx Sincere apologies for not uploading correctly the first time and appreciate your prompt response and action. Kind regards OnJosh1 |

OnJosh1: Too much unnecessary info. I sent this. Good day, Trust this finds you well. I write to replace the DS-160 forms completed by my husband and I with new forms. We had submitted the initial forms without a passport photograph and we understand that will no longer be acceptable. Please find attached the confirmation pages for the new forms that we have completed which contain our passport photographs. Kindly update our profiles with the new DS-160 forms. Also attached are the Bio data pages of our international passports. We hope that we will be able to maintain our appointment date (please find confirmation of appointment below). Looking forward to your positive feedback. Sincerely Then they replied requesing this: Applicant's Name (as it appears on the passport): Passport Number: Date of Birth: Email Address: New DS-160 Confirmation Number: We will also need scanned copies of the applicant's passport and the DS-160 confirmation page to assist you further. So u can list all that out in ur first email along with the attachment. |

urblackpearl: Thanks dear. I sent with the the plenty unnecessary info o. While waiting for your response Hubby said to send and hope it's okay because of the urgency. They replied asking for the same things as with yours except for copy of the DS-160 Form but I've sent it as well. Thank you so much. 2 Likes |

urblackpearl: Hi urblackpearl, Its me againnnnn I just got a reply saying my case has been updated and the case closed that I should log back into my account to view details. So I retrieved application using old Application ID, it initially gave an error message tried two more times after which it went through and I viewed the confirmation page but still no passport. Retrieved application with new Application ID and viewed, I can see Passport photo. Please how did you confirm that both applications had been linked? Or your profile updated? Did you have to click "start new application"? I intend printing and going to the Interview with both old and new Confirmation pages as well as email but will appreciate clarity so I'm not packing unnecessary papers. Thanks again. |
