Well if you say you have personally gone to watch these players, that I can understand. But you have not also gone to see the likes of Torunarigha or other Nigerian players in Holland etc. You see what I mean? So let's be a little balanced here.. Granted the EPL is the most competitive and the Championship may be at the level of other top leagues. But you can't just say any championship player is better than the others. I consider that quite extreme. Modified And thanks komekn: 2 Likes |

Mickael2:On what basis is Siasia a better tactician... Is it on his performance with age grade team or ...? ain't getting u n d sir thegoodjoe. Siasia's success is due to the fact he plays inferior team...You never wonder why he usually flops when he plays a decent team..cos no tactics...It's all attack n attack... It seems beautiful football is the only tactical stuff to you...That nigg. couldn't take us to the nations cup twice because he is tactical... . 3 Likes |

bataderemi: Till dey given d test to proof their worth b4 we can conclude, club game pressure is totally different from a national team pressure Main reason I dont get carried away here by most names our unofficial scout here mentions. B4 Agu was invited, we knew aw most of our unofficial scout mentioned his name to d sky level, yearning for his invitation. Now he has been giving d chance by Rohr,we all knw d outcome.those who yearn for his call, has reversed dier stance saying he's not a "super eagles material yet" So in a nutshell, wait till Rohr gives both Bonaventure and onyekuru d playing time in d national team b4 u can conclude dt dey re hotter Dan kelechi and ighalo. 5 Likes |

Mickael2: In that case, Siasia could be drafted into the team. Rohr should even request for Siasia's help too. Then, in 2 year's time, a combo of Oliseh and Siasia should coach the SE cos they are about the best Nigerian coaches at the moment. |

PDPGuy:bro what are you saying....? how come we Nigerians always don't learn from the past.... oliseh can never manage the eagles....except you wanna watch a quack and non-unified team... coaching is not just abt tactics but also man management which oliseh lack.... he should stick to club football and forget about the super eagles.... and for siasia....yes he is good...especially when it comes to playing European and south America countries.... but still has a lot to learn when it comes to man management and players selection |

komekn:you call Turkish league and Dutch league...obscure ? you need no....reasonable person to tell you that the answer to the bolded is revealed in that careless word sometimes your inability to find a balance in this your sentiment towards English football leaves me baffled. you shouldn't be saying this.... a league may not be in the level of the epl but that does not mean it is obscure... I am tired of replying you on this...because you always look for unfounded facts to back up your assumptions.... and for omeruo I think his constant loan moves has infringed on his performances...he ought to settle somewhere and grow his potentials and not shuttling from club to club..... 1 Like |

Humility017: These coaches can still learn under Rohr or some other manager. With time, they will learn the finer art of man management; so I'm not ruling them out completely from managing the Super Eagles. Remember that Oliseh quit the Eagles primarily because he was owed his salary. But as the NFF seem to be a lot more professional in running their affairs, Oliseh/Siasia could be the next gaffers for the national team. Right now, Oliseh is close to being the first African to coach a team in Europe's top seven leagues. 2 Likes |

Mickael2: Rohr is a far better manager. He knows more about the game outside tactics. Especially keeping the team together. See how he shielded Akpeyi even when he was about to drop him. Or how he kept Alloy Agu in the coaching crew despite his limitation. His management of Victor Moses needs a book for coaches to learn how to manage an egotistical player. Even his dropping of Awaziem, Onyekuru and Osimhen because he did not want them in camp and disappointed when they did not make match day squad. Rohr also reads teams very well. He is the better manager. However, when it comes to tactical set-up and play, Siasia trumps. It is not even a debate. 2 Likes |

PDPGuy: let me say this..... it takes only an humble and a teachable person to learn... not everyone you see out there are humble... so they can work wit rohr for ages....if they're not humble or rather has pride in excess they will remain same way... mind you....oliseh almost tore the team into pieces...his row wit Vincent and later make musa the captain... his brother ex-academy players were all drafted into the SE...and were all given ample time to play trash... likewise benching mikel for onobi I will rather keep a close eye on finidi George and pray he proves different and come successful.... he can as well manage the SE wit yusuf in the future.... moreover he looks level headed to me... and for siasia...he is a little bit a man manager....but his problem...is always him having his boys and playing and inviting them at the expense of better players 1 Like |

Mujtahida: mind you...aina is a better player at present than omeruo....forget about this experience thing...a better player is a better player... and so there is not way he would have made the mistake omeruo made... we are talking of a defender here...who only don't sit defend but also offer something in the attack....a defender that can make good cross and square up pass... it is risky never to take a risk...balogun and co should be thanked for coming to shield elderson severally when the occasion demands....he really tried though but was poor for LB 1 Like |

tbaba1234:Why should he wait till 23,if Iwobi,Aina,Ekong, Ebuhei wait till 23 would they be in d national team now I don't even rate him much but most of d time rely on komne reports and since we need CB to complement Ekong and Balogun then let give him a chance. Pls what is d difference between him and Tammy coz i see a lot castigating Tammy.,waiting till 23 meaning if England come calling good if not I w opt for Nigeria,to me not a good decision from Dominic Irofa snr. 2 Likes |

England Youth International Defender Eager To Hear From Super Eagles Coach Rohr England youth international defender Dominic Iorfa is eager to represent Nigeria if called up by coach Gernot Rohr ahead of their preparations for the World Cup 2018 in Russia. Iorfa who is on loan to English Championship side Ipswich Town from fellow Championship team Wolverhampton Wanderers has represented England at various youth levels. Two years ago he trained with the senior team of England as back up after the team were hit with several withdrawals while in camp for a friendly game. However the defender who snubbed overtures from Nigeria as his father Dominic Iorfa Snr insist on his son reaching the age of 22 before deciding his future, has now declared for Nigeria. ” He is at the age now , where a decision on his international future has to be made, and like his father said few months ago, he is ready to play for Nigeria, but he is yet to be called up”, a family source told Owngoalnigeria.com. And concerning rohr and siasia argument No matter aw good u re tactically, d coach is as did as his last game wc means, both siasia and Rorh are not better Dan d late keshi because of his achievement with d eagles, (nations cup holder/2nd round at d world cup) But if rohr can supercede late keshi achievement, maybe getting to q/finals of d world cup and also winning d nations cup.den we can consider Rohr as d best coach ever, but at d moment it's late Stephen keshi cos it took him two years to achieve all DAT,wyle it took westerhoff five years to achieve same feat 1 Like |

Tyronne Ebuehi has ruled out playing for the Netherlands, saying that Nigeria first gave him the opportunity to represent an international team. As long as he has not been cap-tied by the Nigeria Football Federation, the door is still open for the right back to turn out for the Dutch National teams but the Haarlem-born starlet is hoping to follow in the footsteps of William Troost-Ekong. ''But I will not do that anymore (play for the Netherlands, ed) . If you play for ADO Den Haag in all respects, there is a chance that you will be at the Dutch team,'' Ebuehi said to northside.nl. ''The competition here is great. Of course, you never know what the future looks like, but I got this chance from Nigeria and thought I had to get it.'' He added : ''William is in the first team. I still know him from his time at Dordrecht. He has developed tremendously and is a great example for me.'' Ebuehi's only appearance for the Super Eagles to date was against Togo in an international friendly in June. Igho Kingsley Football News 2 Likes

Humility017:I am not saying Aina could have made the mistake Omeruo made and again I never mentioned anything experience. All I am saying is that it is understandable for Rohr not to feature Aina at least - not as a starter- in that match cos if anything - and you never can tell-goes wrong it would be unpardonable for the Coach. I am as enthusiastic as you are to see Aina play but on that day I think the coaches feeling the depth of circumstances were wise not to start him. Do you know that that match had the air and spirit of a final? In how many finals have debutants been thrown into the fray if not for injuries? |

krattoss:He seems to be a very caring man. Look at how he's ensured Ikeme takes the glory for the qualification, the team wearing t-shirts with Ikeme 's name emblazoned on them, telling the players and the officials to share a portion of their proceeds with Ikeme he's been to visit him and still planning to do so. Tell me that if Ikeme-which I doubt but assuming - comes back, tell me he would not want to die on the pitch for such a coach. He realises more than anything that the first thing is not tactics, is not football, is not even the goal to be at the World Cup but humanity. That man was not made for Football, tactics, World Cup etc but football, tactics and the World Cup for man. When a player who has been called before to the team is dropped, Rohr still calls the player. Ighalo said it, Ebuehi said it, he's even in constant touch with Enyeama. If it were others they simply would not just care. 2 Likes 1 Share |
