In 2014 I read from WES website that they do not evaluate academic records from UNIPORT. I don't know if this position has changed.

Lol. I have a friend who got ITA September 6 and AOR September 8. The guy has gotten his PPR already, passport is in Accra waiting for visa and COPR.

It depends on your contact. I was told 4 to 6 weeks but mine was sent after a week & few days(i delayed the process) but you should confirm if it has been sent because I confirmed my document was delivered to WES but they have refused to update my status.

Medicals Passed: June (I don't know the exact date)
Request for additional Information: June 20 (Replied within 7 days as stipulated)

The status shows this: Find attached.

Kindly advise if I should allow the 6 months post AOR expire or if I need to contact them to know the status.

Call and mail to know status of your application it may have been moved to local visa office.
when calling ask for detailed status like your security,eligibility,criminality,medical(though you have passed this one) and also ask for your visa office,ask where your application is right now.Then after this sit back relax,watch and hold your breathe

Please be encouraged. Don't quit. You can apply for a remark of the listening section, it's just the wait is something else. But please do not quit.

Dont quit just take a step back and find out where you are not getting it right in listening and fix it and at the same time try to maintain status quo on the scores of the others SRW.

My first attempt was LRWS 7,7,7.5,7.5 because of one mark just one mark(l learnt from analysis that that one mark no small at all).l rewrote and got LRWS 8,7.5,7,7.5.

Where l missed it in the first one was that l did not practise listening with questions that had diagrams(the ones l had did not have diagram questions and when l later started seeing the questions with diagrams before my second attempt l was furious with myself) when l saw it in the exam l was seriously rattled and l could not get myself and compose myself in the nick of time.

What helped me was l knew where l had goofed so l was determined to get it right the second.Though l was angry because l could have gotten it right the first time and that money....hmm l for use am do something else

look at it this way. if u hire someone to do a job for u and he says he can only do it for more than 200k,what's the minimum amount which he can take.

Grammarians and mathematicians should comann put mouth in this matter o. If passage says less than X, then X should automatically be ruled out as maximum. My thought.

You know how they say one shouldn't be technical during ielts. I guess this is one of those cases. Mathematically $1500 wouldn't have been the answer. They say answers should only come from the text in the passage. I guess this will help other people trying to take the exam.

but the argument can help others in future tests.

No need for specious argument, in maths if x is less than 1500 it is written as x<1500.

What I know is ; I couldn't have missed more than 1 question and all this argument will not increase crs or land an ITA

Hello good people. Kindly advise, My AOR was 29th July , Meds passed 11th August. I was refused UK and US visa which I put when answering the statutory questions although I was eventually issued both visas and travelled severally. I did not upload any schedule A, I later learnt that I would definitely be asked for it because of the refusal. Up until now I havent been asked for any additional documents,.Do I need to upload the schedule A using the web form or just wait. Find below a screenshot of my status thak you

Hi, I did my transcript with unilag since August 16th. Uptill now, it hasn't gotten to Wes. They told me in students record that it takes 6 weeks. Just last week,
They sent me a mail requesting my birth certificate, waec result and any relevant unilag document. I have given that to them. Bur Application is yet to reach WES. I tire pass you

Don't give up, even with an MSC you still need to get at least 8 in listening to have a good CRS. You can do it. Just keep your faith alive and dust up and practice practice. Your score was what I had in my first attempt and I was determined to get it right the second time. You can do the same. Like I said keep your faith alive. Good luck

Strategy for reading is copy and paste when asked to ,paraphrase and predict answers, and never try to read and understand the passage

Strategy for listening is to practice till you have high scores. I recommend simulating exam conditions by printing your practise sheet and using Bluetooth headphones (if you can). Practise as if you were in the exam hall. I have found laptops to be distracting and that's purely a personal experience.
