forgiveness: If he was that good why did Liverpool let him go If he was that good WHY were all the teams in French League 1 not in a desperate que to buy him He was so good he never played one game in the premiership for Liverpool, explain Gomez at 18 left league 1 and Charlton Athletic and straight into Liverpool first team. Leaving Ilori to watch with Envy, Why Not one premiership team registered interest in Ilori why because he was so good So it's all newspaper talk with no substance. 3 Likes |

Mickael2: Let's pretend like you didn't see the Kalika interview excerpts I posted. Anyway, one thing I cannot take away from Siasia is his insatiable thirst to improve and update his skills. Before he took over the Olympic team, he went for a coaching course in Europe. However, to say he is a tactical genius is very wrong assessment and quite misleading. I was stating the obvious about the Olympics. The quality of the football event was nothing to write home about. I have seen U20 tourneys of higher quality than the show in Rio. Because the USA didn't make it to the world cup while Honduras made it to the play offs doesn't make Honduras any bigger than they are. Let's call a spade, a spade. A USA team still depending on a 34year old Clint Dempsey doesn't deserve a place in the world cup. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Icon4s: To be honest OUTSTANDING, this boy has only played academy football up until last season. It's an indication of the depth of quality in some of these youth teams of the top clubs. To become a top goal scorer in the championship in relegation battling team is simply immense. Aina leaves youth team at Chelsea and he is the best RB in the championship in a few weeks of football. Consider that Iwobi had not played a senior game for Arsenal before he was capped by Nigeria. It means we are not doing our homework well. Some of these boys need to be capped straight away. When I said some of the players we talk about playing in obscure leagues may not be good enough for the youth teams of Chelsea and similar. Some were offended. I have watched Tega since he was 15 I knew he was good but not this good. If Tega can be scoring in a struggling team that don't create many chances at all. What would he be like if he was in a top team. |

You imply that the success so far is due to the resources at his disposal and not necessarily his managerial abilities. If so how come we couldn't qualify for last AFCON? soetanoreoluwa: 1 Like |
