So I just came back from the hospital and the Dr did VE for me and he said my cervix is still closed but even in the office I was still feeling the contractions..

He asked me to return this night or tomorrow morning if the contractions persit or increase

Maybe i should say thank God for the subsidized rate at govt hospitals, it is not really paradise though because Nurses are mean, its a small price to pay sha because my previous surgeries (2) have been excellent and professionally done.

Meanwhile, i thought doctors in island maternity were polite, see GH isolo, my last anc visit, the way the doctor took out time to explain what their procedure is, what kind of stitches would be used etc i was like hold up!!! I dey private hospital? so polite in answering all my questions. I think with all our wahala in nigeria, there are still good citizens out there

The doctors at GH Isolo are extremely nice and patient. Registered there for my ANC initially but my DH prefer private tho so I sneak there once a while to update my file, play with my fellow preggy frnds and do some checkup!!

Will be there for dat free scan once u 38 wks Nxt week,as it's part of our egistration fee ..i hope I get to see u Nxt wk Thurs if it's ur clinic day.

egbami ooo!! so me and DH have resumed full sex some few weeks ago after staying away for a long time to avoid stories that touch..

so far we've never had issues.. it's even sweeter than pre-pregnancy.. and the sex in question is only weekends when he comes home..

I'm 20 weeks and some days..

so tonight we got down to business.. after a successful transaction, I went to clean up and I saw blood.. I almost fainted!!

as I'm typing I'm still bleeding..now a dull red colour.. but thankfully I'm not feeling any single pain, I feel totally normal.. but the blood hasn't stopped. I want assurance that this is normal because seeing a doctor is not on my list for now..

its not torrential bleeding oo, just little spotting.. I hope it stops right now cos me I'm afraid ..same as my hubby too.. . but the guy has slept off ni sha.. I'm still up and still afraid.. I need some assurance in my life right now.. is spotting during sex normal?

I've been lying on my side for a while now and I've been using tissue to dab at my V at intervals to see If it has stopped, but all I've been seeing is just dots of blood, sometimes nothing, and I was getting happy that it's subsiding..

I just got up now to charge my phone, lo and behold, as soon as I was standing a lot of blood came running down my thighs and to the ground.. not a lot per se.. but this one is no longer spotting.. to the extent that I've gone to wear pad sef.. it's still a dull red, and somewhat deep in colour, but it's certainly not bright red.. I don't feel any pain / contraction..

DH is awake now and is saying we should drive to hospital right now this midnight but I can't risk that kind of movement.. I rather we wait till next morning.. but I hope it has stopped by then.

I'm afraid, I'm Hoping to God that this is normal after sex. it wasn't even a rough sex. who would even have rough sex during pregnancy...

Booquee....try to relax nd get some sleep but if your hospital isn't far to ur place, u can go nd get check up.
By God's grace u will not loose ur Los nd God will protect u in Jesus name.

Don't panic. Try to lie down. I believe since its not bright red it should be okay. Can you feel the baby move? If not, do something to trigger his movement. You could gently rub your tummy or like I do, get a rechargeable torch if I have one. Turn it on and place on your tummy. The baby should move in response to the light.
