For the husband to batter her like that because of their house help, then she must be the one of the typical mean and aggresive naija women who regard house helps as trash. The man went too far in this circumstance. Both parties in a relationship should exercise self control in words and in deed. Women can talk no mean say there shouldn't be caution. Most times words have a very damaging effects on whom it's being addressed to. Words could lead to low self esteem, frustration, lack of confidence. There are better ways of handling a nagging woman, beating no be solution because the woman would always gain the sympathy of the public.

Yes I agree. Personally I've been in situations with girls that talk too much up to the level that I start boiling but I'll just walk out of the place. If it was a guy saying some of these things be assured I wouldn't waste time in engaging in a brawl, but cos they are women u just have to pack up n breathe and walk away.

Raising her voice in argument and slapping him back in the presence of the kids led him to do this. A wise woman knows when to speak and when to be quiet to her hubby. Men are naturally egocentric, what she did was to hurt his ego before his kids which made him apparently lost it. Let us have an understanding of the issue. The man slapped the woman twice and the woman slapped the man back .
