army units advanced overnight Sunday toward Kirkuk, a major oil city that's dominated by the country's Kurdish people and which recently declared independence.
The Iraqi national army has taken control of "vast areas" without opposition from Kurdish peshmerga fighters, Reuters reported, citing state television. There were no confirmed reports of fighting.
Oil prices reacted strongly to the news, with Brent crude rising more than 1 percent to $57.77 a barrel during Asian trade on Monday.

Pls note that the market is a little bit pregnant now awaiting the result of 3rd Qtr of most companies, therefore some of the stocks on watchlist are Dangote Sugar, Okomu, Presco, Dangote flour, just to mention a few. This means that if the Q3 result is good, then there may be capital appreciation in the price of these stocks.

This is not a recommendation to buy, as you are expected to do your due diligence as well.

2zona:
May not have leaked yet, but the existing earning figures from Q1 and Q2 results are enough confirmatory factors to upward swing and if the tempo is sustained for Q3 and Q4 then cap appreciation and 45 or 50 kobo may not be far fetched by next year. NOT A BUY RECOMMENDATION PLS.
It seems Afriprud will get to destination price much earlier than forcast.

fxuser:

- bearish Supply drying up !
- N22 support seems valid thus far !

Update on Zenith
- from N22 support to testing a very sensitive supply area !
- we got a close above N26 psychological level
- a weekly close above dis lvel will add further confirmation to a bullish break
- however '' IF '' SP can close above N26 on d weekly & above N27.40 on d monthly . . just hold and expect break above N30 and beyond
- pls not the ''IF's

Dis:
Added more at support. Will be adding more after confirmation of break

Note:
It is always better to buy 52 wk highs than 52 week lows.
