One of Nigeria’s greatest assets is our diversity. But unfortunately, in the years since our independence in 1960 we have completely failed to exploit this diversity to our advantage. Instead, we have quibbled and fought concentrating on the few things that drive us apart instead of the many things that draw us together. It is my unshakeable, stoical belief that a united Nigeria means a stronger Nigeria and a stronger, more competitive Africa. Every ethnic group in Nigeria has something to teach and also something to learn. In this article, I will be concentrating on what every Nigerian can learn from the Igbo people. Unfortunately, this has since been proved wrong since 1960 to this day. All we have done since achieving self rule in 1960 is fight each other which only shows that Nigeria is a mistake 3 Likes |

Unfortunately Igbos do not know how to sustain business. Business sustainability comes with expectations for swings...gains and losses are interwoven! When business is not going well and is on downswing, Ibos take to crimes to 'sustain gains', opposed to " sustained business". This author need to differentiate between entreprenaurial acumen and hustling at all cost. Ibos hustle at all cost! |

When a Yoruba man is trying to tell you the secret power of Igbos then you had better run for your life. Yorubas think they know the Igbos, but reality, they don't know anything. The average Yoruba cannot tell you more than 3 words in Igbo but he will claim to be an authority in Igbo culture 1 Like |
