You are too much. I am doing that now. Thanks

Nwannem, I was in this situation some few weeks back as well. What I did was that I gathered all my documents including getting my POF and made sure everything was ready before ITA except for police report, medical and printing [/b]of bank statement (all these were done in 2 dyas) because I knew if i got ITA, I would have barely 1 week left before my birthdy. Though my e-family encouraged me to calm down that CRS scores are locked once ITA has been issued but I refused to take the risk because of all this CIC plenty grammar of 'It may also result in the applicant no longer meeting the minimum requirements of the FSWC and, consequently, no longer meeting the MEC, resulting in a refusal based on section A11.2'.
I wasn't confortable with all the 'MAY MAY MAY'
.

So I advice you do the same if possible. May God help us all.
ITA- Sept. 20th
AOR- Sept. 25th

The 12,500 (actually 12,300 CAD) is the minimum required amount of funds you should have to support your upkeep only once you land in Canada Not for anything else, not even for visa fee (550 CAD Application Fee + 490 CAD Right of permanent residence fee). That money is an independent sum of money not meant for anything else but as seed money into Canada's economy grin grin

Thanks

At current CRS of 385 (LRSW-6.5,8,7,7.5), an 8 in listening would have landed me at 435 cry cry cry, does it make any sense to create a profile now while preparing to rewrite IELTS?

Has anyone in that score range ever gotten provincial nomination? ##JustThinking... What if CIC decides to do Christmas for peeps and am nowhere to be found in the pool.. grin grin

What are the implications of entering the pool with this score?

FSW draw is yet to get that low. can create profile and scout for PNP, job, while you prepare for IELTS.

So Thankful! Good news coming my way..

Hi humblemoi,

Please when you submitted your paper application to Sydney, how long did it take to get an acknowledgment of receipt email. It's been three weeks that it was mailed within Canada, cos it was sent through someone, till now not heard anything.

Do you think an email should be sent to them and which contact can we send it to.

Hello guys,

My WES status has been "on hold" for 3weeks now (waiting for institution to verify). I have contacted my uni (IMSU) and they confirmed to me that they have replied WES..
The status hasn't still changed, I have sent a mail to WES and there has been no changes still, I am beginning to get worried, any suggestions on what to do or should I exercise more patience?

Thanks

I sent an email to NC-NOC-CNP-GD@hrsdc-rhdcc.gc.ca requesting for advise on my NOC classification and apparently that email is not officially used anymore. Can someone please point me in the right direction?

On another note, can anyone who had his or her IELTS on the 14th please comment on their experience. In my own case, I think it went exceptionally well. I blasted the LRW part of it. Sure of the max points there. I have concerns about my S though which I had on the day before. Was a bit nervous in the early stages but picked up as things went on. Can't blame myself though, it's been a while since I last wrote an exam. As such, I was a bit rusty. smiley
Check the feedback mail you got, there is direction to their new email. Read the content please

Having paid the $550.00 application fee, if your application is successful then you will need to pay $490.00 for the issuance of PR visa at the end of the process. After receipt of your $490.00 payment, your passport is requested for towards one-entry visa stamp and issuance of your COPR - Confirmation of Permanent Residence.

Had the same experience. Procrastination wanted to kill me. What worked for me was that I gave myself 6 weeks gap for the ielts and registered for the next available slot close to that date. Once you register and you know the date is approaching plus your 68k is at stake, you will practice by force. Had it on my mobile and laptop, practiced at night after work but mostly weekends.
