beyolah: I subscribed to GIF at the same time as MMF. Its great, there's hardly any fall in price, its increase is steady. The interest is about the same as MMF and you get a yearly dividend which isn't spectacular. Its more of a long term investment and its not exciting watching it daily. I would say its the safest of all the funds. 1 Like |

sabanageorge: Have you had any success doing this? What's the customer service like? 2017 has been good for them, with total returns supra 10%. There's also some reporting from Bloomberg that investors were falling over themselves for a slice of the upcoming FG $5.5 billion Eurobond. I'd like to partake in the fund but I'm not in Nigeria |

Comparing T-Bills with Money market funds is just weird. Interest compounding and the ability of investment banks to get sweet deals at CBN's Open Market Auctions put MMFs ahead. How do you take advantage of corporate commercial papers @ 18% if you don't use an MMF? 3 Likes 2 Shares |

I found this article both instructive and quite enlightening. Bitcoin’s rise in African markets is driven by an old Russian ponzi scheme: https://qz.com/1100886/bitcoin-in-africa-is-driven-by-mmm-mavrodi-ponzi-scheme/ 2 Likes |

Investnow2017: Bro, you feel Bitcoin investments are ponzi schemes? I ask because i intend to learn from your perspective. Personally, i feel they are simply speculative instruments rather than investment instruments. Would like to read from you. 3 Likes |
