eldee365: Ireland do not require any text and the cut off for scholarship is 2.1. But you can contact the school directly for financial based scholarship. Its better to apply directly to schools and constantly email them for any information. Pls don't pay any agent to help you secure admission, you can do it alone. 10 Likes 2 Shares |

Well for computer students, National College of Ireland (NCI) is ur best bet...its located in the city centre and they give scholarships. Well I stay on campus soo its not stressful for me..but its very expensive to stay on campus... Getting an accommodation outside is stressful..very stressful!!!!!! U'll have to switch from one hostel to another before u get a permanent place to stay especially in DUBLIN.. 17 Likes 2 Shares |

NB: he/she intends to enrol for a masters in Ireland, can he switch to an IT masters or what should he/she do as i have learnt Ireland is different from Canada. thanks |

adesbaba: Contact university of limerick. Though most of their courses cut off is 2.1, they accept 2.2 depending on individual cases. Or you can apply to institute of technologies outside Dublin 3 Likes 3 Shares |

lanrayx: I think its your personal decision to make. However, you can decide better by where you see yourself in the next 5 years. Or by what your plan is as regards career path and future aspirations? Based on your question however, with a degree in sociology or political science- Philosophy / Business Psychology/ IT may be a masters alternative . However, for IT related courses, you need an edge to compete with other hardcore qualified IT graduates e.g developing your programming or database or web /software development skills to exceptional levels. If some is inadmissible to Canada due to misrepresentation would it affect being issued an Irish study visa? Thanks |
Re: GENERAL Irish (student)visa & Work Permit-New THREAD*** by Chimumsy20: 9:26pm On Oct 16, 2017 |
Mikky4canny: Don't think so. A friend of mine here in Ireland have a case with UK immigration but still got her student visa.Though her application was denitrification at first but she appealed and got her visa. |
