patrickmuf: is it that same second spell at. chelsea that he also won d epl that broke him someone should also post a stat of jurgen klopp against the big teams in England and after show me what he won... if winning the epl was only about winning big teams,I guess klopp would've won d title last season.. but hey,we all can't like d same person 3 Likes |

dubylhover: Spot on. Like someone here said, the bigger issue should have been the defending champions losing twice in succession, the latter one being to a side that was MILES behind everyone in the league. But because it is Jose, everybody will pull stats out to nail him. Even when it is clear that the reason for nailing him isn't anything new and if you had anything working between your ears, you would have expected his tactics on Saturday. We have something to build on, but folks would rather see the rubble from an imaginary crisis they created. 3 Likes 1 Share |

dubylhover:I actually think Mou is the best we can get now. I was obviously referring to his second season when I made reference to his second spell at Chelsea...Talking about like or dislike is just you trying to build an imaginary bridge between us as fans, that someone else thinks Mou should show more guts against so called big teams doesn't in anyway translate to hatred. |

So we should rather be fixated with Conte and his team short comings abi? If others here make reference to City you ask them to fuvk off and go support City. Is okay... |

patrickmuf:No. But stop flogging a dead horse. Stop beating a broken drum Stop playing a scratched CD Stop wearing a faded garment. Expecting Jose to change at this stage of his career is akin to folly. Let him fail at winning us the title before we have a go at him. 2 Likes |

hoopLA:. For them it's very ok to destroy mourinho with fallacies and myths, but once you praise him, you are supporting anti-football and should keep quiet immediately |

patrickmuf: but you do know that the second season in his second spell at Chelsea was when he won the title right? so I don't understand how you meant where you said he lost it...if by him losing it means winning the epl title, then I earnestly hope he loses it this season at Manu 1 Like |

I will honestly suggest that mourinho leaves United, so that the board can try the so called Football Aristotles so that we will know which is better. |

hoopLA: You really need to desist from insulting people because they do not agree with your point of view. So because some fans want less conservative football from JM they have nothing between their ears? It is you Mourinho lovers that are actually using emotion rather than facts in this debate. If this issue can't be debated in a civil manner it's better not debated at all, we all want the best for United. 6 Likes 4 Shares |

afrodoc2: for the record I'm not a Mourinho lover. He was never cut for the United job, and is still a divisive figure. He will never be beloved as an individual at the club, no mater what he goes on to achieve. Please don't lump me into a category I don't belong because I choose not to vent at him. hoopLA: This is my original comment. I think it's pretty clear in itself. If you know Jose, there's no way he was opening up against Liverpool. His tactics should have been expected. Expecting him to go otherwise to me sounds absurd at the very least. Saying I insulted people who want him to be expansive in his approach is quite disingenuous, I must say. I didn't mean to insult anyone, and if I did I apologize for it. However, I think we are going overboard with this criticism. |

Let's get something straight. This team can still win the league if manager, players and fans pull in the same direction. But if you are not assessing with a biased mind answer these 2 questions? 1) When was the last time a team won the league without an away win against a Top 6 club 2) When was the last time in his WHOLE CAREER that Mourinho went a full season without an away win against a top 6 club. This 2nd one is for those that keep saying " JM has always parked the bus, so we shouldn't be surprised". 1 Like |

afrodoc2: To #1, Fergie did in 2010/11. To #2, and derived from #1, How does winning away at the top sides translate into title success? Kindly educate me. Yes, Jose has tended to park the bus against the big sides. that is a FACT. 5 Likes 1 Share |

afrodoc2:r u already concluding dat we won't win any away games against the top 6 teams? to answer ur first question, d last time Jose won d league with Chelsea, he only won one away game against d top 6. just one game. he had 3draws and one loss against spurs. so I don't think there is any cause for alarm presently. 2 Likes 1 Share |

afrodoc2: you didn't read my response to your claim that I insulted fans who don't agree with me. Bro, no need for either of us to build bile over this. I made a remark that I shouldn't have and apologized for it, but you still hold on to it to form your opinion about me. Even when you took my quote out of context. No qualms. lekkie073: There is no alarm on my part, I believe we can still win the league and the worst position possible is 2nd.. I am just not happy with the insults people have been dropping directly and indirectly since against those with a contrary opinion. Fergie did it ONCE and JM NEARLY did it once also in 20 plus years of the EPL. Gaining points whether home or away against your direct rivals is important in this league. |

Points gained against direct title rivals might just decide who wins it this time, City are blowing off all the small teams so to say (we're equally doing same) and have already taken 6 points off their clash with Liverpool and Chelsea, early days but that's a huge boost... Winning against the big boys isn't a guarantee that the league is yours but it makes it easier. 4 Likes |

afrodoc2: bro let me clarify something, gaining points throughout the whole season is very vital, whether small teams or big teams,if you win mancity its 3 points you'd b given,if you win Burnley its still those same 3 points.. I think why most fans are being itchy about the big games is because of d sentimental feelings about winning a rival.. Chelsea won tottenham,"a rival away from home",but have lost to crystal palace and Burnley...so what's d essense,I can bet you my left balls that they would have preferred to have lost to spurs and beaten Burnley and palace... too much emphasis is laid on trivial issues in my opinion |
