Good evening house. Please i want to make some clarifications. My hubby is not willing to relocate, but i intend to include him in the application process. I have written the test and awaiting result. Also about to start the ECA. Is it compulsory for him to write the test? ( he is not willing to write oo) Do i have to verify his educational documents as well? |

Jurisdy17: So long as your own details can get you great CRS scores. Or better still, if you think your score is not good enough, you may reconsider ur intention to include him by selecting he's not accompanying you |

Jurisdy17: hmm all this hubby is not willing to relocate, thank God you decided to include him as an accompanying spouse.. cos even if he isnt willing to relocate, at least he would be willing to visit and if he has to visit what visa is he going to use? there is no guarantee CIC would grant him one in the future. abi u go dey run come naija with the kids just to see husby every now and then? inshort the best bet to have him change his mind is to keep the window of him visiting open. bone all those talk wey we men dey like talk, once he is alone in naija, except na politician or heavy businessman, he would want to be with his family. now to answer your question, i dont think it is compulsory for him to sit for IELTS or do ECA, only that you would lose points if he doesnt. well, I think you know him best and should know how to work on him, forget say we dey like form "I'm a man... blah blah". sometimes when we say no, with small working it would turn to "okay lemme just try, though i know i wont go" lolz. so start the process, get all your docs ready and at the same time be working on him, i no talk say argue with am o or dey try prove point o, for those kind scenario we dey like dey deaf to logic..ah I wish say i sabi how to explain wetin i mean by working. maybe dem hephmama 2 Likes |

Dear fellow Nlanders, Please help me review my score and guide me accordingly. Below is CRS result: Age = 105 Level of education = 120 Study in Canada = undefined Official Languages = 136 First Official Language = 136 Second Official Language = 0 Canadian work experience = 0 Subtotal - Core/Human capital factors = 361 Spouse factors Level of education = 0 First Official Languages = 0 Canadian work experience = 0 Subtotal - Spouse factors = 0 Skill transferability factors Education A) Official Language proficiency and education = 25 B) Canadian work experience and education = 0 Subtotal = 25 Foreign work experience A) Official Language proficiency and foreign work experience = 50 B) Canadian and foreign work experience = 0 Subtotal = 50 Certificate of qualification = 0 Subtotal Skill transferability factors = 75 Comprehensive Ranking System formula Subtotal Core/Human capital + Spouse factors + Skill transferability = 436 Provincial nomination = 0 Job offer = 0 Study in Canada = 0 Sibling in Canada = 15 French-language skills = 0 Subtotal Additional points = 15 Grand total = 451 I think I know the first step is to get my certificate assess with ECA (IQAS, my referred choice; I can be guided too) My Questions: 1. Can I get into the pool with that CRS score? 2. What is the level of assurance in % I'll get ITA? 3.Who has sent transcript from Rivers State University to them? I'll like to get a contact person to facilitate the whole process for me timely. NB: IELTS exam not taken, but I know I can get 8 in all bands. The exam not new to me. |

Assumed points are sweet and easier to achieve. Do u have a sibling in Canada who is a citizen and lives there or does ur spouse have one and he must be traveling with u? RuggedArab: 1 Like |

chiobich: Sorry to say this, but I think you are just stressing yourself unnecessarily. You have been rightly advised by Kontagious and veritas3. NOC 1114 is okay for Funds Transfer Officer role; a number of people here have gotten PPRs with that same NOC. I can tell you for free that some people's reference letters were not as detailed as yours and yet they have gotten COPRs. The choice is yours.... 9 Likes 1 Share |

My option now is via PNP. I am 39 and he is 42. I have already lost a lot of marks cos of age and his unwillingness to write test. Do i have to get nominated by a province before i can enter the pool? |

RuggedArab:I saw spouse info.. Do two things: IELTS GT with LWRS: 8777 should do. But 8.5,8.0,7.5,7.5 is even the sweetest. Then ECA with IQAS as ur choice. Good luck! |

adeji2001:Only BC can answer your question o. Just when you think you’ve heard the worst of BC, they tend to come up with a new one. July to December for EOR! Mid December from today is 8 weeks, do we take it that the “technical issue” is them just sending your script for the remark cause I cannot just comprehend the extension. |
