Say we no add at all,d guy na 27-29years of age

This is a very ignorant comment. If you have nothing to write why not keep quiet and read like alot of people are doing instead of begging for attention with fallacious comments. Haha! To comment nobi by force nah!

and how do you know a 21-year old when you see one?

We have dealt with these ridiculous claims by your ilk numerous times that is why most people chose to ignore, but it's about time your nonsense claims got shot down.

If Kelechi is 27, that would be really sad because I have never seen a 27-year old man who acts so much like a kid as he does. This is someone that can comfortably play around with the likes of Iwobi and Awaziem, a truly 27-year old guy would not be so playful.

Kelechi was 5ft.11' as at 2013, but is currently 6ft.2", now if we are to believe this idiocy that he was 23 as at 2013, then explain the increase in height.

Even if Kelechi is not 21, I still maintain that he is no older than 23.

That is how people told us Mikel was 30 in 2005, somehow, he is still playing football 12 years later at the grand old age of 42.

Some weeks ago, someone said Ajiboye was married with kids as at 2007, thankfully, I have a roommate who knows his wife and they got married two years ago and have just one baby.

I have said times without number that you people who come online to defame these famous people deserve jail time if you cannot prove your claims

Kindly keep shut if you are just blabbing because you think you know what you obviously don't

Nigeria is a lawless country where people just say whatever without consequences. Look at how somebody is trying to destroy a young boy who is just trying to make a living...I am ffuccking pissed right about now but I don't want to get banned.

Nigerians can hate eh..most of those claims are made by losers

Dedebanky85:
Why are you answering him? He's a very funny dude. I doubt he's serious with this 27 to 29 yrs brouhaha. But in a serious note, anyone that claims a player is above agr with ridiculous statements such as I know him, I know his older brother, or he grew up in my area, just kindly leave a pics of you and that player. It's easy for anyone to say they know a player and all of his upbringing, whereas they may not even know what state such player either hails from or grew up at. I was pained on Twitter today when some Nigerians on Spanish laliga twitter page were bashing Uzoho after they acknowledged him for being the youngest goalie. If it was foreigners, I for understand, but na Naija peeps de mess d guy up pass. Smh

Its a lie o,baba, his twin brother is hale and hearty google d story, its d pure truth,it almost bursted taiye taiwo den in france

I knw him very well(taiye taiwo),we lived in d same area when he use to hawk pepper in d neighborhood
My elder brother who is 35years old now,was abt starting his secondary skool when taiye taiwo was in ss2,Taiye taiwo attended imetropolitan skool(mentro high, okota Lagos state),for those who live in okota will knw dis skool very well,so popular.u can confirm

Same Ramon azeez dt capped his set during d u-17 lived in ikotun b4,he has 2kids b4 d u-17 tournament, those who knw him very well can testify to dis also
Now back to iheanacho, anybody dt knows him very well,or grew up tgeda with him,can only convince me dt hes real age is not 27,but if u re following d FIFA WEBSITE, to debunk my claims, den u re on your own,dts ur opinion,my verdict still stands,if u like kill ursef but I will say d obvious act

IHEANACHO is not below 27years(real age) grin

The Taye Taiwo story was a false rumor.

As regards Kelechi, He passed an MRI test which places his age at +/- 2 years with a 99% probability. Meaning he can't be more than 23. This is based on scientific evaluation.

Besides, Kelechi played for Nigeria under 13 and 15. This is Kelechi's picture in 2010.

Besides, I have it on fairly reliable authority that Kelechi finished secondary school 2 years before under 17. Average age of finishing secondary school is 15-18 which puts him in the age -grade.

FOR EXAMPLE, If Osaze dey play for Belgium and he score 10. Onyekuru score 10. I will go with Onyekuru. My point is the older players have to show they still have something special the younger players CANNOT give

not to dispute your claim about his age but Iheanacho is still 5'11, 184cm actually. I mean you know wetin be 6'2?!shocked Ronaldo is 6 and half, goalkeepers are 6'2, Iheanacho is 5'11 at best. How tall is Iwobi?

Now before the babylonians come for my head.... I hereby declare that I believe totally that Iheanacho is not more than 23, I have never believed such rumours so please disregard anybody that thinks otherwise grin

Fifa Index has his height as 185cm, transfermarket has his height as 184cm, remember that these are what we may call 'shoe height', like when you see players undergoing their medicals you will see that they will be wearing boots when they are measured, so these heights are at a difference of 1 or 2 from their actual height. I will take FIFA's height anyday, check Neymar's height on wikipedia and tell me it isn't absurd

I am sure the actual school leaving age is 17/18 which means he was 19/20 in 2011 and I disagree since that would mean that he is 25 now, I disagree. At 25 he should be in his peak years, this Kelechi is not yet in his peak, maximum the guy is 23 or less.

Under 17 was in 2013 not 2011... No way, he is 25. His declared age is most likely correct.

Most kids finish secondary school at 14-15-16 these days as long as they start early. 17 na old papa.

Sorry my bad about the mixup.

Still, someone who left secondary school in 2011 entered secondary school in 2005, back then school kids weren't as young as they are now, in fact it was impossible to say a 15year old graduate, 16 was rare. I mean I met that 2005 set before I left secondary school and I know some of them till now. Maybe there was a mixup somewhere

I thought someone said the other day, they were going to force Abraham on Rohr. If this story is true, it shows Rohr had already identified Tammy's strength and considers him good enough to Russia.
Of course we don't expect Rohr to give anyone an easy pass. Abraham not only have to be integrated in the team, but also needs to perform. Whether anyone likes it or not Abraham never turned down Nigeria, and I reiterate the switch process is on.

Humility017:

rohr should please not mind them...pinnick is incharge and not those good for nothing vultures...

if truly Abraham is willing...he should be invited for our last WCQ against Algeria...though he won't get to play...let him train wit the SE....
we need him and dessers badly...at least to partner ighalo...

Not true.. My younger ones all finished secondary school at 14-15-16. One of them finished at 17 and she was one of the oldest in her class. This was around the same period.

2011 was six years ago, these 14year olds are probably recent guys. Even Awoniyi who was very brilliant(yes I knew his cousin) graduated when he was 17, 14 was impossible back then

and you think they just said 'Hey Muller, Bastian, Gomez come let's go this world cup and you are in the first eleven'.

You forget that even in the German team Bastian would have warmed the bench at the 2010 world cup if not for Ballack's injury, how old was Balack? Their strikers had to sit on the bench for Podolski and Klose, how old were they? Your first world cup iusually a learning process, even Messi was a bench warmer in his first world cup. This is how developed nations function and they have been ever so successful
lol continue poldoski was just 25 then and klose 32, he was not 35 playing in China or Indonesia he was playing with Bayern then

My younger sister graduated secondary school in 2001, she was 14 and half. That is 10 years before 2011.

It was certainly more common in 2011 compared to 2001.

Not true. You also want to consider the mindset in that area.Where I grew up starting your kids early was like competition. And some of these kids will skip primary 6. In my sec school we had a special class who were ahead of their peers by one year. Considering these 3 ppportunies, quite a number graduated at 14.

I thought you would understand what I meant by that. His extended family didn't like the idea of football and even when I saw his WAEC results I too told his cousin to go against it, coupled with the fact that he was sitting on the bench. God works in many ways I guess

Osaz etc will need to show they can still perform at a high level. They need to move to bigger leagues and still perform to make a strong case especially considering that we have younger emerging players now. As much as we want to build a young team, we cannot afford to ignore performing experience. Experience alone is not enough.

I don't understand. Re you guys calling for Osaze's inclusion?

I was 9-years old in JSS1 as at 2003. I was 10 in JSS2 as at 2004. I had a classmate a year younger than me then, so, she was 8 in JSS1 as at 2003....she graduated secondary school in 2009 at 14...

You need to revisit these your beliefs. I still graduated secondary school in 2010 at 16, even as I had to repeat JSS2 because we moved.

Bear in mind, some people wrote WAEC in SS2 even back then, so they didn't spend six years in school.
