elyte89: The Taye Taiwo story was a false rumor. As regards Kelechi, He passed an MRI test which places his age at +/- 2 years with a 99% probability. Meaning he can't be more than 23. This is based on scientific evaluation. Besides, Kelechi played for Nigeria under 13 and 15. This is Kelechi's picture in 2010. www.nairaland.com/attachments/3798809_fbimg1464800873731_jpeg7dd0d95308e031f721938446e90e1e82 Besides, I have it on fairly reliable authority that Kelechi finished secondary school 2 years before under 17. Average age of finishing secondary school is 15-18 which puts him in the age -grade. 8 Likes |

FOR EXAMPLE, If Osaze dey play for Belgium and he score 10. Onyekuru score 10. I will go with Onyekuru. My point is the older players have to show they still have something special the younger players CANNOT give Kog45: |

ANTONINEUTRON: Fifa Index has his height as 185cm, transfermarket has his height as 184cm, remember that these are what we may call 'shoe height', like when you see players undergoing their medicals you will see that they will be wearing boots when they are measured, so these heights are at a difference of 1 or 2 from their actual height. I will take FIFA's height anyday, check Neymar's height on wikipedia and tell me it isn't absurd |

tbaba1234: I am sure the actual school leaving age is 17/18 which means he was 19/20 in 2011 and I disagree since that would mean that he is 25 now, I disagree. At 25 he should be in his peak years, this Kelechi is not yet in his peak, maximum the guy is 23 or less. |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by tbaba1234: 6:42pm On Oct 18, 2017 |
Mickael2: Under 17 was in 2013 not 2011... No way, he is 25. His declared age is most likely correct. Most kids finish secondary school at 14-15-16 these days as long as they start early. 17 na old papa. 3 Likes 1 Share |

tbaba1234: Sorry my bad about the mixup. Still, someone who left secondary school in 2011 entered secondary school in 2005, back then school kids weren't as young as they are now, in fact it was impossible to say a 15year old graduate, 16 was rare. I mean I met that 2005 set before I left secondary school and I know some of them till now. Maybe there was a mixup somewhere |

I thought someone said the other day, they were going to force Abraham on Rohr. If this story is true, it shows Rohr had already identified Tammy's strength and considers him good enough to Russia. Of course we don't expect Rohr to give anyone an easy pass. Abraham not only have to be integrated in the team, but also needs to perform. Whether anyone likes it or not Abraham never turned down Nigeria, and I reiterate the switch process is on. Humility017: |

Not true. You also want to consider the mindset in that area.Where I grew up starting your kids early was like competition. And some of these kids will skip primary 6. In my sec school we had a special class who were ahead of their peers by one year. Considering these 3 ppportunies, quite a number graduated at 14. Mickael2: 1 Like |

Mickael2:I was 9-years old in JSS1 as at 2003. I was 10 in JSS2 as at 2004. I had a classmate a year younger than me then, so, she was 8 in JSS1 as at 2003....she graduated secondary school in 2009 at 14... You need to revisit these your beliefs. I still graduated secondary school in 2010 at 16, even as I had to repeat JSS2 because we moved. Bear in mind, some people wrote WAEC in SS2 even back then, so they didn't spend six years in school. 2 Likes |
