I had a dream about Oando yesterday's night where I saw JAT......This is my first time in my trading life of dreaming about a company and its management. The outcome?, time will tell... |

Which MAGIC Sir? I just believe that the stock is meant for people that have too much money or those that have made up their minds to gamble in the market. With the current state of Oando's financials, one will need crude oil price to hover above $100 and it has to be consistent for the next five years. New management will also have to keep cost at the minimum for the stock to be attractive for anything. There is no difference between Oando and Japaul Oil. The state of the financials of the 2 companies are really YOYO. maishai: |

feelamong:IF oil sector loans are resolved and write backs occurs, people will better understand your post. Imagine how much FBNH, DIAMOND and FCMB has taken in impairments since 2015 and think of the implications of a write back once oil companies stabilise. 1 Like |

wonder what the logic of suspending trading Oando for 48hrs and not till outcome of their forensic audit.... 48 hrs does not seem enough to do a forensic audit ... it appears oando would be on a free fall after trading resumes but thats on the premise that their books aren't clean 1 Like |

At this rate, Zenith should be trading very close to GTB If not for the irrational way the market thinks. Waiting on Access to complete the big 4. The penny banks have refused to drop their result. What are they hiding? 1 Like |

Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by yinka2011: 1:13pm On Oct 19, 2017 |
bank profits are superficial. based on exchange rate gains, treasury bill yields and high interest rates apart from the usual scam of getting forex fro CBN at 305 and selling to customers at 370-400. Is that banking? very little real-banking going on here. try and get a loan, its like dealing with loan shark mafias. these banks even want to sell recharge cards they are even competing with the mallams on the street. thats why i wont invest in these useless banks. gtb, zenith, all of them are small banks. if you add up all the banks in Nigeria their market cap is equal to the market cap second biggest bank of South Africa. thats how much of a joke Nigerian banks are. all they are good for is going around in their lexus jeeps. 4 Likes |
