I called a friend to notify her of calling, she said FIRS conducted test around June during the time of DPR test. I dont know hw true it is.

Dpr did conduct any test in June. There was not test by firs too.

Good morning all. Even as it's always good to be hopeful in every situation, which of course I am, definitely not everyone will be called. So let's make up our minds to move on in case of disappointment. We all know that FIRS as an organization is a good place to be but unfortunately the slots are few. My sister also applied last year and she got call on Monday to report at a destination in Lagos on Tuesday for an interview with two copies of her CV, Bin no, n any means of identification.

In other to verified her claim, I decided to call a friend who I had known during my dealing with FIRS who later confirm the process and the call my sister got is not "genuine". That make me curious, I tried more and discovered that those that are been calling are truly been invited by FIRS and interview or screening has been scheduled for next week.

My Observations : This is done on merit, connection and luck. If you find yourself at FIRS next week, let me say congratulations in advance.


My Question: My sister is still at dilemma on which post she applied for as a Chattered Accountant, with B.Sc n work experience.
Is the interview going to be oral, written or CBT.

from observation, it is most likely going to be oral interview, congrat to her once again, let her acquaint her self with tax fundamentals.

Sorry to say I may sound harsh at your sister. How would she apply for a job and not know which post she applied for?
I am a chartered accountant and can confidently say that no chartered accountant will easily forget such a piece of vital information. I really don't know what to say in her case. Forgive me if I sound harsh on her.

Sometimes when we reply every statement it makes us loose value of words... For crying out loud dis exercise took place a year and some months ago and d person in question might have applied for hundreds of oda jobs... And I don't get what being a chartered accountant got to do wt remembering the position she applied for..

Even a professor was asked in church on sunday about the sermon that was preached a year ago in an annual Thanksgiving Anniversary,he has forgotten it.
The fact is that there are many things in her mind,....abi na Firs she go dey tink for the rest of her life

As far as Firs has decided to delay,she has moved on with her life with so many palava to overcome

I have not received any calls from firs yet I hope to hear from them asap God help us.

Please has anyone in the south east and south south received any call for interview yet. Because most calls are coming from Lagos and North east east North central.

My observation too. I doubt if those from the south - South and South - East have been called. I hope it will go round
