Obi1kenobi: No one has disputed that you have good Nigerians, hence I challenged arinzeejikonye to explain to me why the likes of sonyika live in peace in south africa whole the rest of the flat heads scream xenophobia daily. Whether you accept it or not , with every great Nigerian there are a thousand more scamming others or committing henious crimes around the globe. You are known for this , hence you are harassed at every point of entry , no country just welcomes you with open arms , I wonder why? Oh ! Wait. ........its because you don't come from a country with onyibos 3 Likes |

arinzeejikonye:That's very easy with the help of the pastoral communities (Zebu cattle are better than GMO cows, though extremely low in milk production.) What is needed is cooling plants to collect milk from herders and establishment of a regulated payment system. But in the meantime, I though Dangote was to build one of those in Kenya |

Obi1kenobi: I didn't want to comment but let me. If you have not been to a country or even gone round it do not come to conclusions. I have seen foreigners come to Nigeria and stay in the highbrow areas and talk about how Nigeria is all rosy and shii, but you and I know that it ain't true. These peeps here just took pics of their best infrastructures and posted it here and you are concluding that they are better with so much authority. That is not scholarly to me. South Africa clearly has a far better infrastructure than we do; nobody can deny that but Kenya? I highly doubt that. |

Mzansian: What a fuccktard. South Africa both pre and post-apartheid has always - ALWAYS - been Africa's most advanced economy for several decades. This was even despite the battery of international sanctions leveled against it. And even the most impoverished, wretched-ass African countries, including Nigeria, has seen a lot of infrastructural development since '91. Our most developed, cleanest, greenest city, Abuja, was a remote bush as recently as the late 80's when development started and it was declared the national capital in '91 to what it currently is now. Nobody was ever implying South Africa just stood still from what they inherited from the apartheid regime, so that's a strawman argument. The argument is simply that the capital investments and technical capacity and know-how of the European settler population have been the key growth engine of South Africa's advanced economy for decades and not cretins like Zuma. There is a fucckking reason pretty much every South African accomplished intellectual of global renown, including scientists, authors, innovators and entrepreneurs are white. A reason over 80% of the top 40 JSE listed companies' CEOs are white. A reason 72% of the directors of those companies are white. A reason just 10% of the JSE stocks are directly owned by blacks who are over 80% of the population. A reason all but one of your Forbes listed billionaires are white and the only black one is worth barely over 1/10th of Dangote. Face the damn facts staring you in the face: you're minority players in your own economy and despite policy fiat, upward mobility still escapes most of the population. Massacre each other? Yeah, to be fair, Nigeria is ravaged by political crises. Then again, Nigeria is a vastly more complicated polity to manage than South Africa. There are singular states in Nigeria with more ethno-linguistic groups than the whole of South Africa's indigenous population: nevermind the vast differences between North and Southern Nigeria.
Really? I never knew Nairaland, a forum, has become representative of the Nigerian media. Other than commenting on the mobs of lowlife looting, violent thugs and scum that have looted shops and homes, destroyed properties, and murdered Somalis, Malawians, Zimbabweans, Nigerians etc in random xenophobic attacks (it also made news in the Western world), I've not known Nigerian journalists to randomly discuss South Africans. What the fucckk do we have to talk about? |

Kenya Election: Roselyn Akombe Resigns & Flees To US(WHAT A bleeped COUNTRY ) ! Kenya election is heating up day after day and the violence ravaging the nation is unprecedented. Reports today (BBC News) suggest that a senior member of Kenya's electoral commission (IEBC) has resigned, saying the country is unable to hold credible elections next week. Roselyn Akombe said the IEBC was under political "siege", unable to reach consensus or take any decisions. Now in the US, she told the BBC she had feared for her safety while in Kenya after receiving numerous threats. Last week, opposition leader Raila Odinga pulled out of the 26 October presidential re-run. The Supreme Court annulled the result of the original 8th August, 2017 poll, which saw current President Uhuru Kenyatta declared winner, after finding irregularities and illegalities. In an interview from New York, Ms Akombe said: "The election commission's IT head, Chris Msando, was "brutally murdered" before the August poll, and "you'll be suicidal to think that nothing will happen to you". "I have never felt the kind of fear that I felt in my own country," Ms Akombe told the BBC. "I have tried the best I could do given the circumstances. Sometimes, you walk away, especially when potentially lives are at stake. The commission has become a party to the current crisis. The commission is under siege. "The commission in its current state can surely not guarantee a credible election on 26 October 2017." www.exlinklodge.com/2017/10/kenya-election-kenya-top-election.html

Mzansian: Since when was Soyinka resident in South Africa? Who told you if he did, he would live in peace? Did Lucky Dube die in peace? Didn't the South African scumbag that murdered him say he thought the poor man was a Nigerian? What exactly do you think your average South African native (which would exclude the likes of J.M. Coetzee, or Gordimer, or Elon Musk, or Charlize Theron or even Candice Swanepoel) is renowned for in the world? For every 10 Nigerian corporate professionals, college academics, doctors etc you might find in the US or UK, you would struggle to spot a single South African native. What exactly do you think is your perception in the world or contribution to the world? How do you influence the world? Nigeria accounted for almost 2/3rd of diaspora remittances to Africa in 2016, despite dropping from over $30b to $22b. South Africa barely broke above $1b. http://www.smesouthafrica.co.za/16622/How-fintech-is-disrupting-money-transfer-in-Africa/ This means your natives hardly travel (though they're hardly pulling up trees in their own country) so while you may not have much by way of negative perceptions abroad, no one knows the slightest thing about your people. That is neither a positive nor a negative, so it's nothing to brag about. 2 Likes |

LeSudAfricaine: If you're going to drag your arses here to brag and belittle and denigrate us, it is only fair to point out much of this advancement you're bragging about wasn't a product of your own enterprise and ingenuity. "Oyinbo worship" is those who wouldn't dare lift their fingers against white residents who have eclipsed them and monopolized their national wealth, but choose to attack the easy targets that are Somali and Nigeria shop-owners, and Malawi and Zimbabwean labourers. |
Re: Kenya Is Ahead of Nigeria In All Aspect (Facts Don't Lie) by Obi1kenobi(m): 1:16pm On Oct 20, 2017 |
Maduawuchukwu: Is your "doubt" based on any evidence? What do we have in Nigeria that they don't have in Kenya? The proof is in the very pictures posted here. Many committed Nigerian posters threw out the best they felt Nigeria had and the Kenya pics floored us hands down. It's objective reality. I'm not claiming either that the whole Kenya is like that. Nairobi and Mombassa are just 2 out of 47 counties in Kenya and combined, they make up far less than 0.16% of Kenya's landmass and just over 10% of Kenya's population. I don't know how the rest of Kenya live, but Nairobi and Mombassa are superior to what we have here. Nigeria is a country where even so-called "high brow" areas have open gutters, have no connected water supply to municipal services and still use generators. I am dead certain this doesn't happen in high-brow areas in Nairobi. Kenya have established quality rail transport infrastructure running between cities and we're still years away from that. Their train stations look better than our airports. Abeg face facts jare! Shaytun: Nigeria ranks 177 in life expectancy in the world. Even countries like South Sudan, Sudan, Somalia and war-ravaged Syria are above us. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_by_life_expectancy Nigeria ranks number 152 globally in the UN Human Development Index and 22 in Africa. Below Kenya. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_African_countries_by_Human_Development_Index There are all kinds of indexes you can find but I'm too lazy to do the job for you, so you'll have to go searching. I'm surprised that in this information age, there are actually any Nigerians that still believe our standard of living is higher than Kenya's. 2 Likes |

Obi1kenobi:Aren't you always belittling other nations on this site? The Kenyans, the Ghanians and South Africans etc? Why does it hurt when the barrel of the gun is pointed on the other side? Of course you worship white people, a Nigerian will never finish a sentence without paying some sort of homage to whites, some even go as far as denouncing Africans and the whole black race just to appease white people, it's pathetic if not tragic. By advancement I suppose you're talking about roads, hospitals, airports etc question is there hasn't been roads, hopsitals, expanded countrywide post 94? Electricity, running water etc? Isn't that infrastructure? What are our won black graduates doing if not advancing our country? Our black engineers, accountants, even the common labourer? We will continue to brag because South Africa you see today is the result of those who live in it 3 Likes 1 Share |

LeSudAfricaine: I don't personally and have never had time for that. I tend to respond to those who do in the same derogatory language they use but if you ever saw my posting history, I spend a lot of time admonishing people who belittle other ethnicities. I'm Igbo, but several Igbos on this forum who can't understand that I don't follow the herd mentality of attacking others slur me as a Yoruba person masquerading as an Igbo. And while I can't speak for other Nigerians (generalizations are stewpid), I certainly admire a lot about the vision, work ethic and industry and enterprise and ingenuity of European people. And hell, fucckking yeah, I disparage the black race a lot. Because as far as the last couple of centuries goes, we're a failed (and STILL failing) civilization who occupy the bottom of every society we inhabit and remain the basket case of the modern world. You're more than free to brag. I'm sure you don't lack for forums in SA where you can back-slap and congratulate each other, so no need to come here to impugn our country. |

Another Igbo stupid cunt spotted Nigeria was a British colony for 100 years after the ATLANTIC SLAVE TRADE. First infrastructure in Nigger area was built by COLONIZERS. The OIL AND GAS findings was made by COLONIZERS they controlled this trade from LONDON AND NY using ur socalled billionaires to be their WATCH MEN. BRITAIN AND FRANCE still have a say on their former colonies. What a stupid nation.... [quote author=Obi1kenobi post=61601275] What a fuccktard. Obi1kenobi:It's useless to brag about Nigerians in the diaspora who wouldn't even be bothered to plough back to their native land, what are those in left in Nigeria doing to improve it?FYI there are plenty of black South Africans in the UK but they eventually comeback to settle in SA. South Africans as whole don't travel to other countries that much and yes even your 'beloved' oyinbo, we don't travel much and there's nothing wrong with that, we much rather explore our beautiful country, I myself have been to all SA provinces bar one, although i plan to visit Mozambique and Kenya in the near future. You fail to realise that nations with big populations often have it's people scattered all over the world, you find Indians and the Chinese virtually in all countries, it's not for some supernatural abilities, the Nigerians in the diaspora you allude to obviously make use of the resources the first world affords them, but in the end plough back to the same first world like the US which is tragic. you hardly find kenyans in great numbers overseas too but they are doing in their own country which is important! You mention the likes of Elon Musk, Charlize Theron and even swimwear models but you forget that these people have had centuries of socio-economic advantages over black South Africans and we have been catch up, don't act like there haven't been black SAns influencing even your life, you probably grew up listening to the likes of Brenda Fassie, Lucky Dube etc Black South Africans brought grammy's in Africa for the first time, the first player to play football in Europe was a black South African Steve Mokone, who doesnt know Miriam Makeba the world over? are there better athletes currently than Wayne Van Niekerk and Caster Semenya? Trevor noah and others? these are black South Africans and you're playing down to fit your 'onyibo is god' agenda. you may say we are 'not pulling trees in our country' but we have become the biggest middle class in a short space of time and that's no small feat! 4 Likes 4 Shares |

Igbo dead brains the VOC traded between Cape Town and India on spices and had workers POOR CLASS from Belgium,Germany,France and Scandinivia. The VOC traded and controlled Cape Town from 1652-1795, after 1795 the British took over and controlled the CAPE COLONY THE west and the eastern Cape then expanded to the rest of SA. Clashing with locals obviously. Between 1652-1795 the European population in SA was 14 000 and worked between Europe and Asia, after 1806 the European popuplation increased after British settlers who brought in German soldiers after they encountered DEFEATS in the Eastern Cape East London and Port Elizabeth area. The war for SA died out after the discovery of DIAMONDS AND GOLD in the 1860s and the British controlled SA mining and big businesses and clashed with boers who refused to be bullied by British. In 1897-1899 there was a war between whites Anglo-Boer war where British defeated the Boers with the help of African soldiers. After the war the boers were POOR AND ILLITERATE in the 1900s-1940s that forced boer politicians to beg the British to negotiate for land for agriculture to help starving boers. British politicians like Rhodes fellt sorry for boers and asked the British empire to help fellow whites. After that white politicians met in meetings and worked towards unity among whites in SA. The British decided to give political power to boers but CONTROLLED big business and mining. While boers focused on agriculture on land taken by Brits from Africans. Even during apartheid 1948-1990 SA was still a BRITISH DOMINION hence boer academics feel boer politicians sold out boers to Brits. The likes of Jan Smuts was a big fan of British empire.
